| Its not running yet, I have had a busy week with other stuff and getting the rest of the car right so I can the concentrate on the VEMS side. Cheers for the Piccys Billy, just gutted it wouldnt run. Checked the timing and it 11/12 deg but surely that wouldnt make it not start as it should still run?? Was a great weekend but I got a fricking red neck style tan! ![]() |

| UPDATE ![]() Ok, you might of noticed that I have sold my ITB's and VEms ECU set up. It cost me lots and I have lost lots but I felt this is the only way I can get the car on the road anytime soon and also help pay off a few debts and actually have money to run the car! ![]() So I am resorting back to the std AE86 engine wiring loom and ECU. Sure it wont be as fast or as cool sounding but its better that an big fat brown paper weight. hahaha ![]() And I liked the std powers the AE86 has anyway, I feel its just right for my skill level and pockets! ![]() so wit that it was time to tak all the hard work back out and get it ready for the new owners, so I spent yesterday taking off the ITBs and stuff but I needed something tidy o replace it all with so ... out with the old... ![]() ![]() so i tarted up the old TVIS intake and TVIS unit as it would look shit with the rest of the engine being all clean.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() had to sand block all the faces of the intake and TVIS unit as they had all old hard gasket on them so now there nice a readyy to bolt on but problem was the gaskets I have for them are shit ones so will get some new proper Toyota ones. also fitted a new knob! ![]() ![]() Oh, and 8j rims look stupid on the front so am putting 7j on instead. hope to have this running and at Santa Pod n Dec. ![]() |
