the firewall thing has been introduced to stage rallys etc too, , its a shame as there are so many brilliant cars out there that are now going to be banned.

Gay?. It's the one and only opertunity that it's worthy of a studio shoot. i.e. before it get's battered. There will be plenty of shots of it skidding in the weeks to come, so why is it gay?

dont be daft man, a studio shoot was done as this will be pretty much the ONLY chance anyone will ever get to see the car in mega clean mega detail, something thats just not possible with any other kind of shoot.
its how all brand new production and race cars are done, or any car they want to show EXACTLY how the car really is.

you will constantly see the car in serious action for the rest of its life, a shoot like that on what is and will be such a famous car for doing that is pointless, as thats all you will see from now on, that will be the same old same old for the rest of its life, hell, youve already seen hundreds of them pics from EDC Rd3!

this will be what you will probably never be able to see again.

(just been looking thru the pics, man they badass, even the crappy snaps i took there, but will have to wait for them, suprise suprise and all that...)

Yeah the camber is insane. I didn't realise it was quite that much, but I aligned the car on Wednesday, and couldn't see a way to have less without compromising clearance for the completely mental steering lock we have. It's not to much of an issue in the dry, infact looking at the pics of Silverstone the on lock tyre contact couldn't have been better, but it's far from ideal in the rain. We're doing some lo key demo's at Rockingham tomorrow for the French Car Show, so I'm hoping this nasty weather goes away as I'd like to get some good video footage of the car without it understeering everywhere.

I've never seen pics like the ones you will see in Redline. The car looks so unbelievably clean. I spent all of Thursday cleaning and tidying all the mess from the last six months build. I really can't wait. I think it won't be the next issue as that's being done now, but it'll be the August issue?? usually released late July IIRC.

car looks mint tho fella.. well done every1 at DW

Its dead

Been at French Car Show today and during their demo I think Phil clashed with the Sil80 and then he pulled up and had to be pushed back to the pits.

Hope to hear its nothing serious Phil and it gets fixed soon. It sounded and looked awesome when it was working!
