Its really easy to say, "should have done that" lol, you have to try something before you know it will not work, and putting hours into something you are not willing to give up so easly.

Shame on you phil, you should make a time machine and go into the future and by the guide off ebay "2jz in nissan bodys for dummies" for Ģ9.99, then come back and sort the problem....

lol, good luck

We've got a 36 tooth trigger wheel, new sensor and some better shielded cable ready to go on early next week. Fingers crossed, we'll have it sorted for Japfest

Takes about 6 weeks or so to get the basics nailed... but a lifetime to really know where you're at, handy skills to have though

I'm at Weston Performance again on the rollers with the S15. We're not quite sure how it's going yet, as despite fitting the 36 tooth trigger wheel and hall sensor, we seem to be getting random timing light readings.. Not sure if it's an issue with the timing light itself and the wasted spark setup or not, so we're seeing how it acts under load a couple of hundred RPM at a time.. I've just seen it run up to 4500rpm at just 1.2bar, and it made 454bhp.. . We're calling it a day till tomorrow morning, but I need the whole world to cross their fingers for us. We are long overdue a break with this car.

454hp@4500rpm thatīs 529LBS of torque(715nm). Thatīs insane.

if you get 480lbs at 7500rpm that will be 685hp.

454bhp at 4500rpm ... and that's as much as BonBon and you've still got half the rev range left!

Bets on 800+ people?

Awesome to know how do you calculate that then?

That's at just 1.2 bar as well. The theory is that everythings there for over 2.0 bar as long as the turbo's still efficient at that boost.. I really hope things go to plan.
