So what's the format for EDC then?
Qualifying today and then the full comp on Sunday?

Yup. Just one 20min practice sesh then the finals on Sunday.
Mixed in with the TA practice/qualifying/finals, so there is plenty of time to sleep between drifting.

I could really do with some sleep on that day.

yup "The practice and qualifying for Round 2 will be held on Friday 1st June at Silverstone between the hours of 3.00pm and 6.30pm"
As for sleep, I'm not sure Phil or Bon have ever tried drifting after having sleep ..... maybe they'll be better off staying up all night twisting a spanner in mid air and drinking "Relentless energy drink"

It's closed I think, don't think you can actually watch the practice or qualifying unless you're super cool and important.

well, it drives in a straight line and the steering works and everything......

I've just had a call from a very happy sounding Phil, who just kept saying UNBELIEVABLE and laughing
I hear rumours of 5th gear round Luffield
