cause the vertex kit is quite nice, don't want to destroy it, and the W9 kit was only 600 quid for front, side and rear.
gonna get the vertex sorted and resprayed and laying around incase i do the W9 in to a state of fubar.

It's a fair bit too short, but it's so short it really won't either help or hurt the exhaust tuning,as we won't rev a bazillion rpm. So,we just wrapped it to retain the heat and just kick the turbo into life that way. And,that's the one smokey bought..

Too small... it's a .63 A/R one,and it sees 2 psi at 2900 rpm... rev'ing in neutral. Driving it it has 7 psi at 3000 rpm,at 40% throttle... Still mapping, and not hooked up enough fuel to it to run more boost yet. At 7 psi now it runs just like the previous build did at 13.. that was 214 whp.

so what aproc amount of HP you plan to take from that engine with that spec..i think aprox 350 or 400?!..or not?..i just wonder about the turbo as i dont have worked with TURBONETICS only GARRET..do you know what Garet have the same turbo spec..i think gt28 or 28r or Turbonetics is even better?

Garrett originals are better than the Turbonetic's ones,IMO (better bearings)... The closest equvivalents to that turbo is a GT2876R or GT3076R. The specs for our Turbonetics one is just about inbetween those two Garretts.. Potential for about 480whp,if we push it. But I don't think we'll need that...

Wow, great great project!!!

I'm also thinking about a water to air intercooler. How is it plugged into the water circuit ??

It isn't,as 75ºC engine coolant doesn't cool much. Separate pump and radiator, and I'm thinking of making a reservoir so the circuit can hold some more water.. or just a bigger cooler with BIG end tanks.

It might heat up after 4-5 minutes of drifting, some say... So what? After 5 min the run is well over anyway.
