would it not be better with no door cards or is it a regulation that you must have them ?

doesn't say anywhere that they have to be there, but i think it looks better for one thing, and it's not all that comfortable banging my arm straight in the door.

santa came early this year

check out my big, pink throbbing monster

i ordered it a while ago, but it took a while for it to come. it's the W9 body kit.
but i won't be putting on this year, since i'm gonna learn how to drift, so it'll be too expencive to buy a new kit every time i smash it

well then. last night i was trying to fit the bodykit, and what a load of crap. i think it was made by drunk monkeys. i have to cut and reshape with fiber all over the place

but it's not impossible. so don't worry erik, i'll be fitting it

i'll post some pics later of it

edit:
this is what it's supposed to look like. but i opted for not having the front canards

todays plodding on. had a massive headache, so couldn't be bothered to do much exept this

and gave it a little paint, and mounted the gauges. well, tested them atleast

i can live with this

and started chipping away the sound deadening. love every second of it, but due to headache, didn't do more than one mat before i packed it in and went home for a sleep.

not much of an update today, cause things are going slow.

doing the job everybody hates.

add elbow grease

and some homemade chemicals

and wipe off

and it ends up like this.

i know the last pic is of the floor, and the others are of the rear wall, but i ran out of power, so i didn't get to take any more pics

nah, i bought the bodykit from bsbildeler.no, a norwegian company. it's not the best fit, but it's not hopeless for somebody that's a little handy with fiberglass.

the front bumper had to be cut in two, and shortened by nearly 2". the rear bumper needs to have the sides under the rear lights forced out a little somehow and where the rearbumper meets the arch it has to be let out a little. same with the sideskirts. the arches have to be let out a little.
i'll get some pics of the rear this weekend for you. any requests on what you want to see?

cheers

sorry for the lack of updates lately, but i've been building a stereo in my gf's car the last few weeks, so i haven't done anything with my car. BUT...
i've got engine pics

nice and clean

cylinders bored and honed, milled the top

sideview

ported coolant channels

ported waterpump housing, to aviod cavitation

close up

and another close up

so that's the latest. i'll be starting next weekend again, so hopefully more pics then.

cheers
