Sunny B310 13BT swap!

Hey guys. Im a new member on this site and recently picked myself up a bit of retro stylee j-tinnage. Its a 1 owner, 46k fsh car and it only needed a tiny bit of welding on each sill to go through its mot! It almost seems a shame to do anything with it but good things await this car as soon as funds allow. In the mean time hope you like the wheels!

Why do those pictures make it look like the doors are falling off?

Lol! Random question, but that would be the schutz that has been applied to the sills on either and above each side. All will be taken care of in the fullness of time but trust me, the doors arent hanging off!

Seen these and often thought they would make a good nissan AE/KE equivalent. Never had the balls to buy one though.

I reckon N/A CA18DE on throttles stylee

Im liking your thinking Mad Cas, I was thinking more along the lines of an SR20de running bike tb's. Im not sure how I want to go but I dont want it to be an "undriveable kill me when I throttle it lairy arse monster"!!

Cool B310!

Seen this on RR.

Would be cool with a CA or SR on the trumpets though, shame about the steering box though.

keep us updated.

Thanks Adam! Your KE is FIRING! What a superb machine and one which I have seen on RR also....it certainely has set the standards by which we all us retro bods should all be aiming to achieve! That steering box i teh only let down, but Im sure there is a way round it! SR20 on trumpets is wicked idea I think!

The SR would be a damn fine motor too, I only say CA A] cos it aint got a turbo, so it should blow up less, (I think its better as a peaky N/A motor really having driven sunny ZX coupes) and I think its lighter then the SR. Not much in it though, and Bike TB's a good idea either way. Be cool seeing this take shape!

Adam, I was thinking about converting but I really like the fact that its an untouched original car so the likely hood is Il leave the front end alone. If you know someone that has bits for it though then please do pass my details on.........hmmmmm saying that th eround lights and chrome bumbers do look heavy . Cas you make a good point, I thought about SR's, CA's turbos and even an s12 CAET lump, but the truth is this car is being built to be driven 99% of the time on london streets! So maybe Il have to look into the CA zx sunny option, Id imagine getting it from fwd to rwd isnt gonna be to much drama right?

why not stick with the std engine?

Is it a A12?

Just drop it like its hot and ad some nice rims, like above.

Ahhhhhhh! Adams got the b210 love going on! That is a tool!!! I got the a12 Adam and yeah, for now it can stay in there, but it wouldnt pull you out of bed man!lol, the plan is to get it immaculate, fat rims, nice paint, proper suspension and brakes, and a decent lump in it with a 5spd to haul me along. Ive wanted an old skool rwd jap car for ages so Il take my time and make sure I do i right once! This little dat isnt going anywhere, just for the fact you dont see many 2doors around makes me love it even more!
