OK so update time, After a few crail days i managed to melt (i think ) the impellors on the water pump, so overheating was plauging (sp) the bus, so a new water pump, thermostat and some plugs as a wee treat she runs mint again.

The car lookin hard but being fricked waiting on reny n daves rescue chat.

When i got it i thought il drift it a bit, see wat its like and if i like, then try to build a competitive car for eurodrift, for 2k.

So ive started transforming it into a drift car from luxury sedan..

Basic interior removed lost me roughly 120kg's and ive fitted my sparco seat, and the hydro too (not in pick)

Anyone fitting a bucket to an e34 gimme a pm i gots some hot knowledges for yo :thumb:

The car BADLY needs a suspension overhall, so full polly bushes are orderd, and hopefully kw konigsports with whiteline arb's will arrive within the next 2 months.

Buying upgrades for the e34 aint easy!!!!!!

So in the mean time il try get the cage sorted out, fire extinguisher plumbed in and cut offs if im very lucky (read probably wont lol) and exhaust sorted out.

The only other mods i can afford are different top mounts for some sexy neg cambers up front and a few small things like front wings and a non fricked standard bmw intake piping doo daa.

Got me black TD sticks for repping it up too, and chizfab ones also

oppinions/suggestions welcome appart from cut all the metal out the grinder will reach to banter, im not fat mike

finally got round to doing a bit more to the bus, spec/work completed so far...

- New front wings - rolled
- Rear arches repaired, inners moded for more clearance, outer lip still needs a wee flare
- Fuel filer surround replaced
- Clear indicators/side repeaters
- De spoilerd
- Bumpers lightened

- Whiteline adjustable ARB's
- Poly bushed rear beam, awaiting fronts STILL
- New control arms/drop links
- Vorshlag competition stud kit with 20mm spacers up front
- Custom spring cups with 550lb 2.5" AVO springs and spax shortened adj. dampers up front
- 2 coils off with stock bilstiens at the back
- Lock stops removed

- Goodridge braided lines all round
- Green stuff pads up front
- Driftworks hydro

- Zorst
- Sump gaurd and a bodged cold air feed with a random filter cos mikes still got my airbox on his shitter!!

drove it for first time since changing everything this wknd, and it was awsome. way more stable and the locks are top drawer

Jeek managed to remove my splitter after about 3 minutes...

had a top mount collapse but we managed to save it for rest of the day with a washer from the trailer

hydro needs touch more of a bleed not 100% but we ran into top mount issues in the yard on saturday too so it had todo for now. top mounts, cambers,Weight loss and some paint to come next i hope.

when welding on new panels..etc do you just tack it all the way along then grind the tacks back and fill the rest + paint ?

Depends on the build, my crappy 535 is worth nowt, so simple repair panels and a skim of catty does the job here no problems.

Im sure caged will inform you of the way he thinks it should be done and how doing it as above is all kinds of badness.

bothered.
