Spent today clearing up a few of my long list of shit jobs today, can never be arsed to do em

Started out with swapping the jubilee clips of the boost pipes with mikalor clamps. These frickers go real tight, be careful not to go too tight and and bend the pipe inside like i did

Then i got on with making the mount for for the controllers and switches in the centre console.

Started by cutting the ali plate to fit the hole,

Then decided where i wanted everything to go,

Cut out the holes needed, and once everything fitted snug i could cut the self adhesive carbon fibre sheet to fit,

And the finished product, im pretty pleased with it

Its pretty gutless off boost to be honest but that makes it good for driving around daily,

thing is until i buy the injectors and get it remapped properly i cant really go on boost much at all, i even when i do i can only limit myself to 0.8 bar so i cant comment on how it feels on boost, its killing me waiting to find out what 550 odd hp feels like, should be there end of November

Yeh when im home we'll go out have a drive, im away in Germany for a good while, probly next time im home is when ill be fitted the injectors and taking it up to get mapped

awsum dude cant wait, im just wondering what it feels like to what turbo i should go for.

thinking gt30 with the 82 housing same as the driftworks r32

apart from that was thinking a gt35 with a 63 housing as i was going to get some stupid lary cams build so it spools up quicker and get a bit of head work done and see how it responds then. get the rev limiter moved to 8 k then il have 4 k of lary powers to play with on boost lol

Sounds awesome matey, i think this turbo is a little big, but i managed to get the kit cheap otherwise i would never normally be able to afford anything like this!

When i can afford it ill be doing the same with cams and headwork

Thought itd be possible to raise the rev limit in the emanage so i could go up to around 7800 but no chance

This is on its way from NZ now, im well happy with it!!

Just got to decide how im going to have it done, wether to polish the cover and maybe paint the cam covers a dark satin grey or black

Any ideas??

Test fitted to a mega turbo'd 1JZ in NZ

Been painting the rollcage in the evening for the past few weeks, took a lot longer than i thought it would!

Looks good in the pics but its far from perfect, and also with the cage being so tight to the pillars at the windscreen i couldnt get the paint all the way round which is gash.

But still looks a million times better than primer coloured floor and rusty cage!

Just gotta pray the wastegate spring turns up next week and ill be getting some dori on at the pod on the 29th

bigger ports and longer duration cams will slow response, not increase it mate. just will increase top end and maybe mid too, depending on the cams.
