drift

Seen clips of AW11s drifting.
Just need balls and decent suspensions settings.
MR2OC or TwoBrutal for that info.

Took the car to a soaking wet drift day for a bit of testing

Have also just fitted some cusco camber topmounts and lowered the car by a further 70mm giving a 110mm drop over standard.

I really like this.

I have always had a soft spot for the AW11 MR2, not for drifting but i think they can look prety cool and I have been told (never driven a MR engined car) that they handle really well.

I just love them!

Pease make yours a white version of this, so I can can you 'Snow Angel'??

I know your building a car that performs more than it looks ( I still think the wheels you have on it and the rde heigh/colour really look gret) but im yet to see a 'cool' AW11 in the UK, and yours looks nearest it so far!

yeah, anything decent in a Jap style with 4x100 PCD is gonna be hard to find. Your better off getting 4x114.3 and using hub converters instead but then you could always use the german Ebay, as alot of the olf VW, Opels and BM E30 are all 4x100 PCD and there are some really nice rims out there for not much money in comparison to what the same money gets you in 4x114.3.

Check here

www.ebay.de

And try and find a set of BBS E30 rims, nt the BMW ones like you have but they so so happen to be called 'E30' BBS rims, there lush!

like these....

or anything else you see on there!

Try Mattig, the German Wellers ...

ATS Classicss...

or these 2 links are cool...

I told you they were nice!

Im gutted too, I had a set in 13x8, like brand new, which I sold on for £500.

They were sexy and were the plan for my KP60 starlet with wider arches until I got the KE70!

And they would be too wide for a KE on std arches

Thanks matey, must admit i keep thinking about losing the spoiler, just can't decide.
Was thinking of fitting one of those tiny nismo lip spoiler instead.

Looks fantastic!

Can you give me some details on the Cusco stuff and how you lowered the ride height?

Cheers,
Rich.

get yuorself a 3way brake cylinder stopper brace.
AW11 + braking = master cylinder twisting and moving and falling off the bulkhead

i bought the cusco top mounts through greenline.jp can't speak highly enought about their service
You do have to drill an extra hole for them though which probably isn't a bad thing.
I'll admit that i bodged the ride height lowing by choping a rung out of each spring (apex springs) this is definately a temp thing whilst i wait for a set of coilovers.

Thanks mr twincam i'll have a nose on the ebay for one, think i did spot one the other day actually.
