It does indeed

The panels are all thrown on just to see if I need to do anything to the suspension springs, but it seems like they're coping just fine. It's not really sitting any lower than with the CA in it.

Also bashed the crap even more out of the transmission tunnel to get the box to fit, and cut a hole in the inside of the car so that the stick can come through ok. No pics of that at the mo though.

Sump needed to be removed, cut about a lot and welded back together to avoid the crossmember. The engine mounts have been hacked about and spaced alot too to make the car sit right.

Lots still left to do, but I've got a bit of love back now as it's finally back down on its wheels again after about 4 months. That and instead of looking like a big pile of expensively painted metal, it actually looks like a car again

No mate. I've been like a 7 year old on Christmas morning for the past few hours. People have been getting a bit scared, as they've just seen miserable/pissed off me for the last 6 months

Yep, the stick is about 2 inches further forward than where it originally was, bit of cutting of a new hole, but all good overall.

I'll get your headlight back to you as soon as I can mate, cheers for letting me borrow it

Awesome Glad to see it's finally getting there. 8 pipes out the bonnet and 4 out the sides should look proper nuts.

P.S. I like the brickwork, looks like you're building drift cars inside a farmhouse

Page 6. Badass.

Er, updates. Went to the Autosport show and had a nice chat from the guy running the Tilton standard. He's now sorting out which release bearing I need for my stupid swap. Sorted out which pedalbox I'm going for too.

Then had a nice chat with Phatbob, who's just made the loom I need for the Vems. Believe that's winging its way to me now. Umm, what else? Paul came down and welded the mounts in properly... Oh and I was bored last night, so cabletied the front of the car together

Need to get a camera that isnt phone based

More to come, when I finally get paid on Monday
