They do indeed. Working V8 drift cars would probably be even better though

I'll be up for a battle against your beasty at Pod or something. As it seems that I wont be eligable or able to fit into any competitions this year See you in Europe or something

Ditto
We should do a Europe V8 trip
The two cars on song at pod should be pretty amazing.
What are you doing with your exhausts?

Side exits. 2 each side. Just infront of the rear wheels Having them so that we can angle them towards the floor at tracks with gay sound metering things

Oh!
Nice
Im having one in each quarter pannel and then a screamer pipe exiting just infront of each door.

Should be a giggle.

The car will be, I won't be though. Can't have a crack at EDC like I was planning because of their new format. BDC is full to the brim too, and I didn't compete there last year, so don't have a license. The Kings thing that Niall is doing is invite only as far as I can tell. I think there's Prodrift thing happening, but I've not read into it much...

Thought id update with a decent camera for a change, seeing as i've just got one. Technically, er, not really any updates, but an excuse to take purty pictures.

Sump clearance is a bit of an issue

Camber's a BIT out...

and finally one of the purty sparkles, as it's the first time in 8 months the cars seen the sun...

Out of interest Dunny,
What are you going to do to stop you ripping the sump off the engine the next time you hit that big hump in the ground at the pod...

Nice piccys tho

I dunno. Sumps not really important is it?

I need to get some different front springs, as the engines heavier. I also need to dial out the 11tybillion degrees of camber the car currently has. This should raise it a touch. I'll probably cover the sump in a big sheet of steel or something too. frick knows.

That V8 looks so at home in that engine bar (bar that low sump!). Any other sump options that wont hang so low. Do any other cars share this engine that may have a different sump design?

That looks like a nice fit but as already someone noted that sump is gonna need protection, nice build - cant beat the sound of a good V8 so rarely hear them round here!!

The Soarer obviously shares that engine, but is mid and rear sump, which would just meant hat it wouldnt fit due to the crossmember. Those pics don't really show how close the front sump is already(infact its had to be cut and welded to get it there ).

At the moment it's still a case of accruiing the parts to make it actually move, rather than worry about things hitting when it does move
