Don't the 1UZFE's have big sumps anyway? If so can't you just cut and raise it a bit and slightly over fill?

That's how the car looks as of the other night. We've renamed it a puff adder as it's wide and low and fricking evil looking

I've bought the 4AG ARP flywheel bolts that are needed to hold the custom flywheel in place. I've also bought the pedal box main mechanism, so can start sorting the interior out soon.

We've also decided to scrap ALL of the cars current loom. A company in the US called Painless do a complete kit to replace it all. Saving up for that right now.

On the bonnet you can see that I've got no further with my dasboard redesign.

Sump - Paul is going to come down soon and we're going to fabricate a new sump. Something along the lines of the Greddy SR20 one that's very thin but quite wide.

Project is still stalled really waiting on money. I have a few cars to sell now though, so can hopefully afford the rest of the shit needed as soon as one goes

WANT TO DRIVE IT!!!!!

That kit looks excellent - i'm wiring a 3rd gen 3S-GTE into a AW11 right now and the traction control and ABS stuff is getting in the way for ages, hopefully i'm going to get it all finished this weekend thank god!

haha, I posted that link onto the picture of the day thread this afternoon

I think it's the perfect thing to do. Get rid of ALL the shagged (very shagged in my cars case) 18 year old wiring, that's caught fire, melted together, all the same colour, and hacked about to fit random ECUs.

You got it

Nah, the 3 pedal ones (that include a throttle pedal and all the associated linkages etc comes in at about £650. The overhung (the cylinders face back toward the driver over the top of the pedals) brake and clutch that I have is a lot cheaper, and just what I need.

Few more bits procured.

Wand.

Milometer/speedometer/lights "light"/indicators lights/full beam light/warning oil light/revs/stuff.

Better picture of that here:

That guy's got it on a bike with his own lights. I'm using the ones supplied in the pic. This isn't going where you'd expect though, as that's filled with...

The Vapor is really small. So it's going to go in the space where the radio should be. Somewhere around there anyway.

Interior mess. Makes me scared. New loom on its way.

These are gay. They will be changed slightly when my dashboard itself is done. Possibly just the same "fabric" as used on the dashboard. Little touches that make the car

When my expenses come through (hopefully early next week) i'll be buying the final bits to make the car move under its own power, ie the release bearing and rest of pedal box stuff.. Oh and hopefully getting the prop and flywheel made right.
