Yeah, little confused about that comment myself

Let me just check...

No, still appears to have 2 doors

I was at the unit earlier mocking up the dashboard. It's going to be good Don't know about cow doorcards. I think just dark, maybe with some sort of underlying pattern in it, but definatly dark to match the rest of the insides

Live from the batcave we have some movement

Prop has been recut and done by Paul_S13. It is now the right length. So can send that and the flywheel off to be machined up finally.

Paul is busy as I type this beavering away at rebuilding the sump to be a home-made greddy style thinner but wider sump. More pics of that later.

I've been trying to get all the wires out of the engine bay, and other bits and bobs in preperation for the Painless loom thats winging its way to me from H'america. Also designing my dashboard layout with all my fancy lectrics. Will be looking sexy time when its complete. A complete redesign of the dash.

Gotta do some cutting of the engine mounts for the manifold sexytime to happen.

Passenger side.

Drivers side:

I've been sent on a sandwich run now, so more updates later.

Nice, I just got my V8 out of the 'donor car' and finally got an R154 for a sensible price, after locating several and being quoted 350-400 for 3 of them, seems like everyone doing manual conversrions on chasers, soarers etc and putting 1JZ and 1UZ in everything going has created a demand and pushed the prices up. I remember when you could get them easy for £150

I'll give you a bell soon to catch up and shit, I should be getting a 3S-GTE fidanza flywheel soon so let me know where you got it modded.

I really don't envy the amount of work you've had to do to get the 8 into the car, makes mine look easy, barely even a conversion in my book!

Make sure you keep all the autobox parts, you need some of them to make up spacers and stuff for the Fidanza...

I've also noticed prices flying up. Annoying really. At least we were at the front of this particular wagon

Umm, what's happened since the weekend? Well, I've just dropped off the prop at JW Engineering in Dartford/Bexley area, that should be ready by Monday.

The Painless wiring is on a plane somewhere. I've sorted a deal with a local electrical genius to completely rewire the entire car in exchange for a sticker or two. That's happening on the weekend, pending the stuff arriving.

I need to sell stuff before I can do the flywheel machining, as I've run out of cash again already

Release bearing is proving a pain, we're going to have to bodge that part of this build

Cool idea, I'll wait til you figured out the clutch thing and copy that

When I first read up about it and the 3S flywheel my immediate thought was to cntact fidanza and get them to do me a flywheel with the right bolt patten and the ringgear reversed, but that was going to be hella costly,
Gimme a shout when you are gonna get your flywheel machined, may as well do mine as well, group buy spec.

If I can copy your adaptor I'll have a look at the clutch side of things too, should be easy with a concentric. I might have another chat with the guy at thor, had a word with him at JAE but he quoted me a mad price for the whole conversion kit and seemed to want to mug me off as the usual clueless but loaded supra owner, oh if only he knew...
