Big empty space in the unit at the moment. It's away for a week getting manifolded. It's like I am without my child

Edit - Yeah Jon, down at Powerspeed.

It's very close to everything. That's the problem with custom engine swaps

Yeah it's going to need alot of heat wrapping. Which is a shame as I like how they look

They're 1 and 3/4" primarys, running into 2.5" bits that terminate in a 3". Profiles good for 700+hp apparantly. They're not equal length as it just wasn't possible with my setup

The driver side was a bitch, he said he could have dropped it straight down and not done the tricky shit wrapping around the steering rack, but it would have seriously throttled my powers.

That's not nesessarly a bad thing, unequal runners means you'll have slightly different torque from each cylinder, thusly a broader torque band.... which means you'll may find it'll pull for longer in each gear by a little bit

Would swap out that rubber guido for a DW's one though or make an alloy one up yourself.. that rubber's gonna melt as fast as your tyres

They are referring to the steering rack boot, not the steering bush - the bush should be a safe distance but its damn near touching that boot!

Hopefully doing a test day shake down in about a months time...

On closer inspection with the car jacked up on the OTHER side, so the suspension on that side having load on it, and turning the wheel from lock to lock, and getting a closer look in around that area, that photo up there is WAY deceiving, there's room for a fair amount of exhaust wrap around the pipe, and is nowhere near touching. Camera trick of the light or something

still would wrap it all like your life depended on it though, radiant heat will be fricking massive, i predict even with loads of exhaust wrap your first few shakedown runs will make you realise lots of other shit is melting too! the joys of modded cars!

will sound mint tho!

idve ran a twin system with a H-pipe mind, but doubt it makes any real odds.

Oh it will be fully wrapped up good. I want it to be reliable and not melting everything in sight

Especially when the secret other bit gets added to the engine later in the year
