Update:

Bought another engine and some other bits.

Now have:

A working sweet 1UZFE

2x R154, one spare.

Adapter plate to mate to engine.

Shortshifter. Sweetest shift action I've ever had the pleasure to use, 100x better than the honeypot stirring that I used to have on the JZZ.

Engine mounts.

Front prop - just need to get it sent away to be done right.

Slooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowly getting there

So far about £1500. When it's done with all the go faster bits it will be alot more than that

Just seen this thread. Do any of you guys read Practical Performance Car magazine? One of the writers in there has just started a Lexus V8 into an S13, (Sil80 replica) but i believe he's adding a supercharger.

I believe the guy in PPC has plans to fit the engine this month. I think his email address is printed on the site, his name is Ewan. Might be worth having a chat with him, as they all seem to know their stuff!
As yet the Sil80 V8 isn't on the staff cars page on the website, but i believe the guy is new to the mag, so maybe it'll appear soon on;
Practical Performance Car Magazine
Check out the SD1 at the bottom of the page on the above link!
