Run and map it on LPG for the win.
LPG mapped engines are awesome cos its high octane stuff.
Plus it would make the engine management easy!

savage engine in fairness, dellows engineering in aus do conversion kits for gearboxes and stuff from what i can remember....there is a vid of a ae86 with one of these engines aswell....think i know someone else doing a similar conversion but on a shorter time scale in a different/better car choice and to similar if not higher spec!

I think its good you kept the S-body over the Fugly Barge. Will be a bit more nimble too.

The reasoning behind all this is simple: I've got the car looking exactly how I want it to now. It certainly does the drifty business well too. So what was left on my checklist of "stuff to make it 100% what I want" ? That's right, the sounds it makes. Big sexy V8 rumblings, instead of the stupidly loud 4 cylinder noise of death. Once this engine is in, the car will truely be exactly how I want it

Carolgees - will be in touch when it's done dude

Yes,
Alas, it will be an FI'ed POS steveroo.
But i have the advantage of being able to spinup tires the size of beer barrels if I want to, with power from...well... nothing. But then again, your going to have that too.

I tell thee what though mate, if we ever end up doing any twin drifting together next year, it's going to give people an audio induced orgasum.
