| -NightWalkers- | Right, the radiator has gone in and is mounted on tabs at the bottom, I still need to make tabs at the top but its so tight in there they aren't really needed lol but better to be safe than sorry. With the rad in I thought it best to mount the valance, so I cut the two centre mounts off and offered it up.. christ its tighter than I thought, there's 2mm clearance at the sides and about 20mm in the middle.. more punch and flare required! With all the grilles and lights back in it looks totally standard! ![]() I dont have pics because I left the camera in the house and it was raining too hard for me to be bothered getting wet just for the sake of a couple of pics! ![]() I've also converted the hubs to studs rather than bolts.. Makes life a whole lot easier. Time will tell whether they are man enough for the job! |

| Sounds good dude just make sure there is a bit of crash protection there for tyres/cones as the valance's don't do much in terms of protection. You'll especially wanna make sure there is a bar at the bottom front edge of the rad, without one there my rad would've been toast on it's first outing at Teesside. |

| -NightWalkers- | As the man Lee said, I got them from Rally Design yesterday. They just screw into the original hubs and the small machined section without thread tightens up against the hub allowing you to get the nut back off. Pretty cool really and makes changing wheels quickly a hell of a lot easier than faffing around trying to match up bolt holes. |

| -NightWalkers- | Some pics for Karan to show how I've modded things and made brackets to fit the rad: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Split the bumper away from the heavy crap behind it: ![]() Started making mounts for the now lightweight bumper.. ![]() And got busy with the hole saw. Holes behind the number plate for track/practice days. ![]() |

| nice job bryn! i started doing mine today i have a MIG coming tmro in the post so once ive worked out how to MIG stuff ill get it together finally decided on an s14 apex 56mm rad, not as good quality as the koyo on my s14 but should be ok. heres a few so far, ive done it so that the top bar will be removable and have the top rad mounting tabs on it too.... i managed to keep the lower horizontal section and it needs to be notched out about an inch for the lower rad hose which will go under the notched horizontal section. http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/9076/dsc02329ff9.jpg http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/1301/dsc02335ws3.jpg http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/1616/dsc02337li8.jpg |

| Pah, dash to the standard front end stuff, make it all outta box! Saved me loads of room around the front end, fits my massive e28 radiator no problems, and gives a handy front jacking point! ![]() No proper pics I've just realised, but I have this one showing my engine bay (airbox removed to clean it up)... ![]() |
