| My touring had semi rolled arches as well(became fully hammered arches), I think it might be standard? I see you've got the seat out now but for future reference lift it up with the big handle on the side to get to the rear bolts. Munky my Touring had windy windows as did my 316. I'm gutted that none of my BM's came with tropical wildlife. |

| -NightWalkers- | Yeh, I managed to get the passenger seat out. The lever had jammed so I had to try and push that and lever the seat up at the same time, it released it and now the lever works... shame the seat isn't needed anymore though eh! ![]() I'll probably keep the electric windows now though. The car will be my practice car until the GTS is done and then will become my towcar once the engine swap has been done. So ideally I don't want it to be stripped of all its creature comforts (see what I did there? ) |

| -NightWalkers- | Another productive tramp*tune day today. I managed to pull the carpets and rear seats out. The rear seat backs were a bit of a bitch, ended up levering them off the pivots and then unclipping the seat hinge, all done now though and sorted. Then nice mr.butuz turned up and helped me with the unenviable task of chipping the sound deadening out. Not bad, took us three hours to take the whole lot out, including the nasty piece up under the heater and the ultra sticky part just infront of the gearlever. Its come up nice and clean too with some petrol soaked rags and elbow grease. Next up is a lick of white paint just to bring it up nicely.. yes, I know its meant to be a tramper but a bit of paint won't hurt anyone ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| *shudders* The only way that car gets smashed is either a) hitting a kerb breaking the front ARB washer and bending the TCA or b) hitting something at the front which breaks the rad. No other crashes are permitted Stav I'm afraid. Topi - we knew it would die when it left it's parents ![]() |

| Nah its cool, ive done A) Think just the TCA, they thin and gay on Sierras. Still drives and even drifts, just pulls to the right as bad as my Silvia used to. 30quid for a new one and hopefully we back to normal. The awesomely good handbrake I wasnt expecting though, THAT nearly caused a serious accident 1st time I wanded it up, lol. That taught me good, and caused no damage! |

Ive nearly finished swapping the original and rather wonky bucket to the passenger side, and fitting my journeyman kevlar one in its place. Once new TCA is fitted then its back in action, no need to mod it, it rocks, makes the S12 seem so lame in every way, lol. Ive been tempted as it only a 2min job to gut the rear doors and quarters, but not been arsed, it handles mint as it is. Topi/MJG- What tyres pressures were you using? Ive got 30psi in the fronts and 50 in the rears at mo, seems ok. | |
