I've welded in a frame for the drivers seat tonight. Waiting for a steering wheel boss to arrive now so that I can bolt the spare Momo wheel in place. I've decided to have a radio in the car (replaced the standard one with a CD headunit that we had in the soon to be scrapped Laguna - waste not want not). Unfortunately the radio wiring was a complete mess, only one speaker was wired up to the radio and the rest of the wires were just snipped off and tucked back in under the dash so I need to sort those out (mostly done, just need to connect them up to the head unit now. My dad is gonna service the engine this weekend too so it should take a bit more abuse before it goes bang. All that I'll have left to do then is to bolt in a harness on the drivers side, weld the diff and slam it!

Seat in place and thats a non-MJG can't see shit place too!:

And the tidied up wiring and glovebox removed:

I removed it to get at the dodgy radio wiring and now I can't be arsed to put it back in. Plus I don't keep things in gloveboxes anyway Its not a daily driver either lol, still got the GTR for that

hehe, thanks Its been a pretty boring birthday but I guess they all get boring when you get older!

I've been trying to figure out why the central locking isn't working on the E30 this afternoon. The central locking relay is clicking away when the drivers side lock is turned by the key but the passenger side lock barrell seems to be stiff and won't turn more than about 10degrees to lock. I'm wondering whether the relay is clicking away like a nutter because it can't activate the solenoid/switch on the passenger side door lock. I'm gonna have to get the barell out or try disconnecting the central locking from the door tomorrow night to see if I can get it to work. So for now I have to lock the passenger side doors then lock the drivers front door all from the inside, then lock the rear drivers side door and close that. Luckily the drivers side front door unlocks normally but still doesn't activate the central locking, piece of shit tramp car!

He's already talked about m3 lumps, before I laid the smackdown on him via MSN.

NAIL THE 1.8, then just stick a 2.5 in it

I never talked about M3 lumps, merely showed you a link to an M3 engine for sale. I don't think I said I wanted to do that conversion. So yeh, the 1.8 is knocking its lifters off and will be run into the ground then I'll set about a 2.5 conversion.

I got the gash E30 steering wheel off at lunchtime today and mounted my MOMO wheel in its place, just waiting for my springs to turn up so that I can cut a few coils out of them and get them in. I'll get my freshly welded diff in tonight. Now all I need is to go to get a cheap harness from West Wales Rally Spares.
