Not a problem mate...

3 different tints, no idea which is which but id have any, wouldnt bother me.

Toyota part numbers for JZX81 rear screens are...

64811-22741
64841-22751
64811-22781

Ive rang all the breakers people have linked to, either no joy or left a message on answer machine.

Rang the ever helpful Saj at Jap Performance Parts, he is gonna have a ring around for me in Ireland and stuff with folk he knows, and failing that he could get a second hand one from Japan, but that could take a while.

Rang my mate and some little import size plates will be ready for my car for 1pm

Off out now to find some plastic or summat to make a temp rear screen out of. Making a decent one will be impossible DIY, and look at the side pics of the car to see why- Its a MEGA curved rear screen

Hammond- i dont mind running it with no glass, but gonna have to spend ages getting all the little shards out the inside of the car, its smashed to tiny little cubes, millions of the frickers

Jord- Any help appreciated, tho honestly think its game over from Toyota themselves, 3 different parts departments at 3 different dealers said the same

Ill join Toyota Owners Club too- toyotaownersclub.com there seems to be UK GX81 owners there

try listing "breaking toyota jzx81" on ebay, then at least you will get some 81 owners contacting you who may have a spare

Jord- JZX81s and GX81s, so the fast versions and the shitbox base model ones, all got the same glass. Finding a GX81 is prob a much easier task.

Lot of progress today, and finally, i got to legally drive it

Firstly, window, it fricked...

So I donned the gauntlets and smashed the shit out the rest of it...

Then, rather than get some plain see thru plastic sheet, as thats far too normal for this car (and, as it turned out, night on impossible to find), I decided id rock the goldfish...

And then I got some plates made, put em on, filled it up with optimax, and went for a cane.

Sounds mint, goes well, slight missfire at the top end, tried octance booster but no joy so at least its not det, so must be a ign thing, so ill try closing up the plug gap a lil, and if that dont sort it then its time for a DW coilpack conversion thingy.

Does the odd nice flame when giving it loads too, which is nice.

Handles really well, 2way is clonky and noisy as youd expect, but does the job mint.

Not fast enough for me though, im used to silly fast cars. After about 5mins driving I turned to my mate and said "it needs at least 500bhp"

Turns heads like youd expect, as it looks properly low and long, love it.

Mate...all that initial dissapointment last night, and it's actually given you the opportunity to graphic up your car starting with the windows!

It was the way it turned your smile into a frown when you whipped the cover off, I almost felt gulty for wanting to look at it!

Do the whole car in goldfish, and have a big dirty peugeot 206 shark-fin instead of a BGW

I was a bit gutted when I saw last night, but within minutes of you leaving it turned to muderous rage, lol.

Between the neigbours we have collected 5 of them giant rockets, we only had 1 end ikn our garden, but nobody else had anything hit by em, just shit luck really.

And yeah, SO tempted to goldfish all the rear and side windows even when its fixed now!

And no wings, ever.

I said that to Scott afterwards, i bet you'd get a lot more pissed off after you'd thought about it, it would take a while to really sink in!

Why don't you graphic it up in Christian fishes
