| Cars meant to be coming next tuesday, but I have a few new things already thanks to- Welcome to Sumopower - Number 1 for Japanese Tuning Parts I was talking to Andy about how stupidly hot the boost pipes get on the Redline R33 and I will no doubt have the same problem on the Chaser, which doesnt look good from a performance (charge temps and heat soak) point of view, and Sumo have the same problem on the 350Z and said to give these a go, as they have fitted them around some of the boost pipes on the 350... ![]() ![]() They are made by ARC and are just like the fins in radiators and intercoolers, but are flexible so can fit around anywhere, like boost pipes, sumps, etc etc. They literally stock on and in direct airflow they are meant to drop the temp by about 10degC each if you believe ARC, and looked worth a go to me as they cost next to nothing, every bit counts. While I was checking out the millions of strange little JDM-Tyte tuning stuff Welcome to Sumopower - Number 1 for Japanese Tuning Parts has to offer, I found these buggers! ![]() ![]() ![]() I saw some of the ProDrift guys had these fitted earlier this year, tho I presumed theyd just stolen some BMW bee sting arials ![]() They looked bloody awesome on the 180s and Silvias I saw em on, and it turned out Sard make these things and Sumo stock em The spoiler on the Chaser is coming off as its wank, and I wasnt sure if these things would suit the car, but I thought frick it, worth a go! You can also sure 4 or whatever, like on the back of late spec Evos etc, which ill try too, see if it looks ok on the shape of the car. Only trouble im gonna have is if they look good, frick knows how im gonna get a good colour match to custom metalfake purple ![]() |

| InitialD erby ![]() | i`m with lex! I don`t even think stick on aerowhatsits would do much. on an evo they have been developed to be there etc, it`d take some good guess work to offer them up to a random car with a random wing for them to work. Also if your taking the wing off whats the point? They don`t do anything on there own, all they do is sort the air flow so it goes over the wing better. No wing no effect and ghey tat stuck on for nothing. |

| Fins, cool just don t stick them on boost pipes in the engine bay otherwise you most likely will increase temps by 10 C or at best speed up the heating. You should do a test with some ACT guages before and after, would be interesting to see what they really do. |
