| Resident Alco ![]() | It's quite possible stav since this engine wasn't really meant for this car that it could end up being impossible to remove the inlet manifold without taking the engine out or tilting it in some way. If you pull the engine and box as 1 it shouldn't be *that* much hassle.... provided you're not doing it out in the rain or a driveway a la me lol |

| Here is a picture of my GTR with the inlet removed it may help. Your misfire sounds like one that I had with a defective injector, its worth changing the whole set for known good ones. PICT0084.jpg on Flickr - Photo Sharing! |

| deffo not a defective inj as we swapped em over with no change. either way, as soon as Jeff my trailer bloke is free (early next week it seems) im getting the car sent down to Paul @ Jap Imports - Specialising in importing of Japanese Performance Motorcars to sort it out. gonna get him to fix the miss (inlet gasket, post throttle, almost certain, will fit uprated ones), fit the line lock and hydro wand ive had lying around for ages, fit the seats and harnesses, fit the wheels and tyres, poss the dumpvalve i got lying around, and maybe some other bits too. and once thats done ill get down SJS for the graphics to finish off its comedy looks, and frankly, thats it. want more power, but wont have the money, want a cage, but dont want it off the road any more than i have to, and barring that, im happy with the spec it is. practice, fun, and hopefully BDC Am. ive got a replacment cheap drift car in the meantime, but as im off to japan next tues for a week i miss the DWYB which is fricking gay, so its just sitting around not doing much at mo. |

| Should do, Paul and Co are well versed in fixing annoying Skyline engines, and one of the few places I fully trust, even if they are currently hindered by having Mitto down there, lol. May sell the AVS at some point, but at mo they are gonna be my spare drifty wheels, as got the Rotas to go on as my flashy road ones. |
