They on, they on they on they on. Woo.

Thanks to the line lock I managed to get the spacers off, and after grinding about 5mm of the end of each bolt the wheels go over them fine

Cant be happier with the fit too, my sums were bob on I think, cant fit flusher if I tried I dont think!

Cant drive it yet tho, front catches when steering, err, everywhere, lol, and i didnt finish till nearly dark, and tired now, so that can wait.
As Bons got MUCH wider tyres than me on his one it shouldnt be anything serious tho.

Pics...

Fixed the gearstick boot too, with LOTS of glue, and even some paper to build new bits of it. Hopefully it works, if not ill get another, cheap anyhow.

When I was in Tokyo I picked up a pair of these too...

And few people said about it looks good now as it is so dont do the graphics. Well, I dunno.
The paint is shit when it comes down to it, orange peely as frick, and loads of drifty battle scars too, so its not like i got mint paint...

Lex-
Its not like it has to go away for a while or be off the road for graphics, so dont matter when its done. Ive only had it back less than a week and already done about 400miles in it.

Ben-
No idea, I doubt it legal tho.
Its a lot more legal than running with those RB26 plates tho, and I got no worries about doing that.

Good fitment! Does it catch on the drivers side front, just in from the bumper? (theres a box of some sort on my sisters which would cause a problem I think).

I ran the GTR for over a year with the front number plate in the windscreen, had loads of police start walking towards me then spot it and carry on, though a club member had his in his windscreen for 2 weeks and got stopped on the way back from street wars at smeatharpe and got a £30 fine. Guess it depends which copper sees you.

Ben- Yeah, till I get too much pig trouble anyhow.

Alex- No boxes etc on mine, but it scrubs on bumper and skirts a bit, but easy to solve. Ill get on with that in the week.

Matt- Yup! The most obvious drifty related ones were...
1JZ, 2JZ, 4AGE, AE86, R32, R33, R34, RB25, RB26, S13, S14, S15, SR20, FC3S, FD3S, but there were tons of others that would be relevant for certain cars too.

Nice dude, they look spot on matey. Is it just the tyres that are causing the issue or are you going to need spacers now again?

Spacers are still on mate, 25mm each side on the front. As its got wide front arches it needs em to look right.

Overall rolling radius is almost the same as before, as is tyre width, just wheel width a fair bit wider and offset far lower, so the rubbing issues wont be much.

All I can see so far is outer edges of front bumper and side skirt when on some lock.

No idea about whats going on on the inside, but seeing as the offset brings it out about the same (or more, i forget) as the extra width would knock it in, id guess inside shouldnt be a big deal.

Bons running same width rims and 245 wide tyres (im on 225s) with no bother, so should be ok after i get the hacksaw out.

Looks bob on that Stav mate

Seeing as it does look pretty lush as it is, how about having your girly graphics done is a chromey (Highly reflective, you know what i mean) purple? So then don't jump out too much but add a little something to the overall look? Plus look cool as frick up close.

Deffo need to be done in metallic/chrome effect thats for sure, none of the pics has ever shown it, but at night under bright artificial light (petrol stations, etc) the spangly paint looks properly nuts, so cant cover that up with normal vinyl, thats for sure.

Think you'll have annoying rubbing issues galore with that wide offset and so little cambers, looks badical though.

I've got at the moment 18x9 ET22, 3mm spacer and 245/35/18, ran 18x9.5 ET30 with...5 or 10mm spacer and 255/35 too. lol But mine's got extended lower arms and the topmounts banged in to max cambers.

Oh and don't put stickers on it.

Its almost on maximum camber on the topmounts.

Its inner arch rubbing im worried about, outer looks fairly minor.

Not done owt this week as i only got a driveway to work on and its dark n cold by time I get in, but while dodging rain i been out sorting front wheel clearance...

Sliced big chunks out the inner bits of the front bumper and sideskirt, which has helped a lot, but now it catches on the points that hold the front bumper and fronts of the skirts on, so ive had to cut them off too
Now gotta work out how im gonna hold the kit on now, lol.
Hopefully it should be fine after, its very close to the outer arch lip but hasnt hit it yet, and there is about half an inch innter lip i can cut off if need be.
Its hitting something well before full lock on the inside too, but im not sure what that is yet, and whatever it is it should be fine considering BonBon has ran the same width wheels with no bother, and i think my offset is lower too.

I fricking hate working on cars

Mate, that means a lot, thanks, and thank Kawabata for me

I gotta do that in a bit once it stops raining, its hitting something at the back of the inner arches before full lock
