that shit is pure gold! Street burnnuts for the win. In aus there are actually donut and coffee swilling cops whos job it is to find pics and vids of street drift, drag and burnout 'hoons' having some innocent fun in industrial areas, then proceed to track them down and take their cars off them for a period of time. So be careful!
As for the brakes, you want some r33 gtst or r32 gtr 4 pot fronts with the big nissan logo on them and they will bolt straight up. Make sure they're not r34 gtt like i accidently got as these use bigger bolts and i had to drill out my struts :-( . Unsure of rotors though as we use ford falcon ba model items with some small hub locators. I'm going to run 2 pairs of r33 rears so the handbrake and brakes are independant. These will need adaptors and unsure of rotors to run, tezuka ran jzx100s. A mate of mine actually has nascar front rotors and calipers on custom adaptors so anything is possible, overkill though!

On another unrelated note, anyone know where i can buy an omp steeringwheel and gloves within a reasonable distance to islington london? I'm there for a few days soon before going back to aus.
Cheers

TBH the 5-0 in the UK will do similar if they feel like it, but frick it.

And the cars got R32GTR brakes all round and they not amazing for mentalist driving, but if they bolt straight on, I presume any GTR big brake conversion kit will fit?

OMP wheel and gloves around London? Umm, dunno, most people do mailorder in the UK, only places I can think of is Grand Prix Racewear at Silverstone and DemonTweeks in Wrexham, and they both miles away. Someone will prob know somewhere around London tho.

On other news, the car is quick, but I neeeeeeeed to hurry up and get the big turbo etc on, im properly bored of the power, I need to be scared in a straight line even on the M-way, and im not at mo by a long way.

A very good cost effective upgrade is to use the r33 gtr calipers as they are the brembo ones, get a reseal kit at the same time to freshen them up. The R34 (also brembo) ones are also excellent, although you have to drill the mount holes out but it isn't much bother and you'll do it in 15mins. I suppose if you want mega power and doing hard track work you'll might want better brakes but they'll cost at least £1500 and only really necessary if you are on track a lot. You'll never make them fade on the roads if they are well maintained, and drifting doesn't push brakes anyhow.

Ever had one of those moments when you KNEW you just had a feeling you shouldnt do something, but did anyhow, and it went massivley wrong?

Well i did earlier, and was lucky not to destroy the car! Its ok tho, just kerbed 1 alloy, took a big chunk out another one (but it will be fine), took the backbox clean off, and smashed the front and rear bumpers up even more, whoops.

Drives straight tho so dont think ive done any proper damage, but thatl learn me, learn me good.
It was just something id dont a million times before, and in middle of nowhere, but went a bit wrong this time

A man who drove past shouted "Thatl teach you for driving like a dickhead!" and he was right, lol.

Im looking at it as a good thing though, and im going to try and fix them good, as they always been a bit fricked...

span it at about 60odd, clattered a kerb backwards with passenger rear wheel, but as it was middle of nowhere the kerb was mostly mud/grass didnt take the rear end off like it normally would.

my wheels got kerbed the first drift day, blowout kerbed em good, and not arsed anyhow, the cars a proper 20footer, far from mint.

and non pics as not much to see, bumpers are off same as they are off in all the 100s of drift ones as i smash em off in 10mins anyhow

back bumpers pretty much snapped in two but goes back together mint, its actually done the front one good as now it being broke means it can sit, and therefore be rebiult, straight, as it was warped to frick before.

as the paint on the whole car is THAT fricked, and as it helps on the constant repairing of bodywork as i drive like an idiot, im massivley tempted to satin black the mofo, would look evil as, esp with a big bonbon-esque bonnet vent, and the matt/satin bangwagon fell to bits ages ago, so wont be like loadsa other cars either.

hmm. does look pretty mad, if a bit gay, in purple tho. wont ask for opinions as i dont want anyones. lol.

Touring Car Spares Touring car Spares owner and all round top bloke Tony Ryan kindly sent me these yesterday, which was nice!

They are a pair of used 235 wide 2008 Dunlop BTCC slicks (medium/soft compound), which he would normally sell as a set of 4 for £120 a set, but these were too worn to sell, so he kindly said I could have em to try them out, see if they any good for drifting

Im initially gonna try them on the front to see how they are, as the main issue is how fast they warm up. Most seem to think they will take too long, but others who have actually tried them for drifting say otherwise, but there only one way to find out!

If they work ok ill probably buy a full set (ones with more meat left on them!) as ive been told when drifting they are awesome on the back too, mental grippy but mentally smokey and wear well too, so good fun for practice days etc.

And thats it really for now. Amen

Once you've got them Slicks smoking Stav they will shred pretty easily. Once they overheat and start to de-lam. Good for a laugh though

As for your satin black plans, do it !! come back to the dark side
