| Yup, TWO rear spoilers ![]() Oh, just realised, even the standard rev limit on an RB26 is 8250rpm, and that works out to an awesome 209mph even on 225/40s! ![]() That tells me I have been doing some comedy speeds on the motorway without even realising as my speedo is broke ![]() Best get that big turbo on ASAP... | Well, I had 2 spoilers waiting for me when I got in from work, but now I have one ![]() As I brutally massacred two rare 1970s racing car spoilers to create one that fits a big ol Chaser... Big Gay Wings are gay. Fact. Copying every other fricker and not using your imagination is gay. Fact. So I thought as ive been covered in filler and fibreglass for the last month anyhow I may as well knock myself up a spoiler I like. I like Nascar/Boso/70s race cars, and the car looks like its from the 70s anyhow, and only people who did anything like that really thats off the shelf for anything was the Rocket Bunny stuff for Silvias, which is awesomeomeomeomeome, but rare/expensive, and for Silvias, so no good for me. Nascararar- ![]() RocketBunny/6666Customs- ![]() But in the 70s a fair few racers had this style, but finding these spoilers still was no easy task, but I managed it. I had a feeling theyd be too narrow, and they was, by about 2 inches, so chopped two, and with much fibreglass love this evening, made this... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Its pretty fricking big too, as expected, bigger than the ones on the Silvia above, which is nice. Its 7inches tall! ![]() Needs a bit of work both ends to sit flush with the bootlid, but even with no mods it sits flush 3/4 of the way along the back, and all the way along the front. |

MTM- Of course its gonne be riveted on mate, as is my bonnet vent, rivets look mint, blending is for fannys. Pretty dark now so cant be arsed going back out there, but looks cool to me, and if all the usuals liked it id not like it half as much, as would know im doing some gay boring shit then. Looked odd till i quickly popped the rear bumper back on, then made total sense, as i knew it would I think youd like itKinda think the car needs to be lower though with that on, need some 16s ![]()

That is the bomb! Nice one for doing something different, and going about it differently too I think once thats on your car needs the full Glossy black VIP WIP treatment. With gold flakes for added porno 'tache points.

Found something VERY odd a minute ago... I thought all X81 bodyshells are the same, but clearly not! The GX81 Chaser bootlid is about 2cm wider than the JZX81 Mark2 bootlid on my car?? I thought id use the GX's one to trial fit the spoiler, etc etc, but the bootlids wider so it dont fit right. Bloody cars... Top pic is really good, really does look like my car, nice work.

Sorry about having 20 pics of it, but quickly put it on with gaffa tape, what you think? Yay or nay? Looks good without it, but looks good with it too, esp considering the spoiler is the wrong colour at mo and the back bumper is only half repaired from some minor street incidents, lol... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also found this old DTM style front splitter lying around too, wonder if i should fit that to the front bumper...? ![]()
