Well, there sort of was, they removed the bumper and slung it in the boot, scratching it more.

Thing is this car is far from mint, usual drifty battle damage, scratches etc, so lil things isnt noticable.
If it was a mint car id be shitting myself!

And I wish mine went to Bristol, thats only a 20min drive home for me! Southampton was about 3 hours inc petrol, Halfords, running from the cops, etc etc... lol.

I would have said Ghostdancer removed the bumper, never heard of shippers removing them with anything other than the ramps at the docks!

And Bristol is the worst docks, apparently least helpful and from what I've heard from my mates that work there I'd never get one of mine sent there! Ignorance is bliss and all that! All of ours have come into Southampton, then we drive them back cross country, via the mendips etc, nice drive and very few police.

No, GD didnt remove it.

And was absolutley swarming with 5-0 the day I drove home.

I think all docks are as bad as each other TBH mate, know someone who works at another (neither of the 2 mentioned) and has talked about the way the cars get caned to fook by them when they get there, and other people have said the only times they have had bits stolen is when they arrived at Southampton.

Dunno if anythings gone missing on mine, dunno what was on there in the first place, lol.

We've just fitted 18x9.5" all round my sisters with 235's, et25 rear et30 front, plenty of clearance on the rear but the front O/S gets close as theres a boxed section in the front of the wheel arch.

Just need to find some reasonably priced coilovers for it now!

Rear wheels must be fricking low offset on mine then, 225s and they right on the edge.

Hmm.

Good info tho, cheers.

Those are rolled quite a lot, pretty much as much as they can be without affecting the rear doors.

Ah, thought they looked more flared than mine.

Mine have the lips rolled flat, but not flared.

I'll try and get some pics when I see her next, I'll also try and get some pics of how close the tyres get. Oh yeah just remembered, someone has taken a hammer to the inner arches too, so that it doesn't scrub on full lock, your's may have had that done already though.

Edit: Here's a better one showing the flare:

That pic maybe shows why my side repeaters dont work too, as they never had any as stock!

But they flash too fast like summats up. Well, actually, mine dont have the bumper indicators, just the usual headlamp ones, argh, confusing.

No they don't have side repeaters, they're in the side of the side lights, (similar to R32 GTRS, though they're in the side of the indicator). Those indicators flashed really fast when we got it as a front bulb was out, so that could be your problem.

I'd guess yours doesn't have indicators in the bumper for drifting, as wen the bumper comes off it'd rip the wiring out!

yeah, im guessing maybe the front bumper indicators have been replaced with the side repeaters (as the side of the side lights ones do the job from the front) but there seems to be no wiring for em!

front and rear lights and indicators seems ok, but like said, that set of indicators seem to be missing so must be that making em flash fast.

Stav, the car looks amazing. As Jeff says, get it down the next westonzoyland day and give it the beating it deserves

And you'd have to be clinically insane to go down "that" hill I went there the day after I heard about in my old E34, and pretty much shit myself at the thought of downhill touge

Man id LOVE to, but to do that would need a full vinyl wrap or mental airbrush-tastic job i think?

Id like something equally nuts, similar colours too, but applyable via vinyl graphics expert types.

it has to be graphic'd up to some decription.

its got plenty of battle damage id like to cover, and its gonna have various sponsor graphics on it soon, and generally cars look wank when plain and just sponsors names on em IMO.

I guess vinyl would be the best way as you could change it for a new season for instance. Deffo needs graphics of some sort tho, didn't it have some in Japland? That pic is my new desktop btw
