Been busy again today, didnt get it finished thogh!!!! I had to spend the last part of the day getting my new projects body shell rolling.
Polo's fitted.

All the Apex arms and coilovers fitted.

Friday

Today

I got all the rear end finished, brakes on and bled etc, temp alignment the lot, also got the front coilovers and tein rods and ends all fitted up, just got to do a bit more modding up front and fit the Apex castor arms, then wer good to go for graphics on tues.

Few more bits done, i actully feel quite sad that its basicly finished

Iv always got the engine to play with and gearbox convirsions

So, i got a tad more lock out of it, just to the point where its about to go over centre! Maxu lockuu!

I like this pic for some reason.

Some finishing touches

New clean dice.

And today i got the graphics done, well chuffed with the overall look

Befor any one points out, i know there is two letters missing off the bonnet, iv got them to fit just didnt have time today.
Oh and there crap pics, ill get some in the light tomorow.

Really loving this car. Its a totally different beast to the car I saw at Chavwars last year. One day I hope to re-unite that spoiler with its long lost bodykit.

During practice at tesside last weekend it became clear my engine was fooked

Masive thanks to Alex supermek1 from Kdrift for towing my car there and back!

Would have been totaly stuffed without you!

Well over a week has past now and i only just have had the time today to get it in the workshop and do some thing about it.
so, out it came

Then poped the head off to see exactly what i expected

at 1st this made me crap it, as plans are to bodge this engine for now till i can afford some thing better.

It actully looks alot wors than it is, its just a load of melted piston stuck to the bore.
With a bit of fetling it soon looked like this

As you can see from this pic, its a nice healthy engine

thats from the old standard management at 1bar.

Plans are to drop all the pistons out tomorow night, hone all the bores and stick in a set of good second hand pistons and rings i have, new head gasket, chuck it in, drive it home fri night.

Bring on round two
