Well got some more done last night, So parts of cage done so far: main hoop been bent ( cheers matt) bent both uprights and look sweet rear supports. part to do rear x and harnes bar door x both sides some bracing (hoop to door bar, upright to front roof bar, door cross's to rear hoop suport) hopefully should have it finshed by thurs night ready for blasting friday then over to the painters Last edited by MR-steveo : 05-02-2008 at 09:53. | ||

| TNS MAN CHILD ![]() | well........ been busy doing other shit but im pulling my finger out was cracking on last night and then my grinder broke shit balls ha ha gonna have the cage finished buy tues and have a spit made ready for paint. so i can crack on and get parts fitted got a few new parts, from them lovely people at mint flywheel![]() ![]() some shots of the cage ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() some shinny powder coated parts ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() had the sump off and had a look see looks good in there ![]() Last edited by MR-steveo : 13-02-2008 at 21:54. |

| You dummys!!!! Thats just what happens to a shell when it has been stripped of everything!!!! And the flash from the camera makes it look a thousand time worse!!! Have you not dipped a shell before(DOH!!) Also cage looks strange at that angle cause of the extra bend to get it to stay close to the pillars looks cool in the flesh and will be strong when all the extra tubes are put in there!. |

| TNS MAN CHILD ![]() | well be busy doing the cage nearly there just gotta do a few more bit should be finished tonight ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() finished the rail had to mod the middle as the cas got in the way, and gave it a nice beed blast and powder coated all the steel bits ![]() ![]() ![]() The modded Q45 throttle body, basically it cam with idle on the body and i hate it so i put it in the band saw and hacked it off, and the made a little jig to put it the lathe to turn all the nasty lugs and crap of to and gave it a nice beed blast ![]() ![]() ![]() cage as gotta be finished tonight so i can finish it all friday afternoon so it can go for blasting ready for sunday as its going over to MW bodyshop for painting cant wait Last edited by MR-steveo : 20-02-2008 at 11:12. |

| Dude, rust is not "what happens" rust is what happens when you've left it too long. Just give it a coat of etch primer from the can or something dude or you'll be causing yourself a lot of problems later on. I have no idea why you left it as bare metal, painting should have been the first job. |
