what heat wrap is that stevo? looks more like the stuff you wrap things in to keep the heat off rather than the stuff you wrap things in to keep the heat in?

Went down to see Steveo today and the car is looking amazing!

Shouldnt be long until its done i dont think, but the colour in person is sweeet.

Got a few snaps, one of which i probably wont put up as its of him doing a bit of a gay pose.. lol..

Ive always heard heat wrapping your manifold is bad because it holds in to much heat and can cause the manifold to crack. a cast manifold is stronger at avoiding this problem. correct me if Im wrong

If thats the sticky heat wrap Steveo - no non nononononono - the glue catches on fire!!! Its only heat shielding stuff

well its a cheap shit one so its gonna crack! ill just keep and eye on it!

as for the heat rap!

look here its for exhaust housings! which get a little hot this is the kit!

you should love that turbo aswell, I run the exact same one .70a/r aswell. in my overbored rb25, with tomei cams. and it makes great power I hit full boost at about 3700rpm (only 10psi makes about 380whp not dyno'd yet) with the 3litre you should have a very usedable power range. where is your redline set at 7200?

you running a gt35r 0.63 ? not sure think im gonna run between 7000-7500 depends on power lol

no, i run a/r 0.70 gt35r same as the turbo in the pic above I run to 8000rpm, but I have a full forge motor going in, in about 2-3weeks and then I hope it will make about 420-430whp. with your extra displacement it'll be a blast and desently responsive
