![]() I was bloody lucky with getting those wheels really, there were two guys infront of me in the queue and for whatever reasons they couldn't get them, so I paid for them asap. One of the best purchases I've done for my car I think. ![]() | |

| I <3 BDC! ![]() | MMMMM! Sexy wheelage is here! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've wanted these wheels ever since I first saw them. Advan Siena's, set of 4, 17x9.5 et24. Sooooo sexual. Only problem? Erm, I don't have 5 studs yet. Which brings me to my next point, the to do list. For next years BDC, I'm hoping to do a little better. I had a good end to the season this year with a 2nd place in Am's at Llandow, then qualifying 2nd in the British Open and finishing in the top 8, after being knocked out by Marc after 3 re-runs, who had won on the previous day - thats a pretty good person to go out to as far as I'm concerned. ![]() Main thing to do - sort out the engine. Its not really running as well as it could and should and at a couple of rounds this year (Lydden namely) I've noticed the difference in power between my car and some of the big boys. Sure its not really needed if you know what you're doing, but it would sure make things easier. I'll do a mini rebuild, and renew and upgrade anything I have the skills and wallet for. I've yoyo'd back and fourth with the idea of an SR20 swap, but for time, money and ease I've decided to stick with the CA. I've proved this year that a CA can be competetive if you use it right, and I don't see any massive benefits from an engine swap yet. If/when it decides to shit itself I'll do a swap then. Basically, after a rebuild/strengthening, I'll be going for 'stage 3' with a bigger turbo, injectors and a Z32 AFM. I'll then go for a proper map to get the most out of it safely. Second on the list of importance, is footwork. I skimped on bushes when I did some work on the rear end before, and I want to rectify that. I'll drop the rear subframe again, and fully polybush the lot, then fit the rest of the adjustable arms I've had for the last year - I only fitted the rear toe arms and front tension rods. Incidently, now would be a pretty good time to say that my £80 set of Motoria/XSP arms have done me bloody good! I've taken them off a couple of times this year to inspect, clean and re-grease, and they show no wear or play at all. If I and up with enough cash to do it, I'll swap for some fancy DW lower arms for increased track, and will possibly get a full set of DW adjustables to fully cover my ass - service free arms would be nice. I'll then get a full alignment done as the handling this year has been far from perfect. I've just learned how to deal with the car's foibles. With suspension, I'd love to go for some fancier stuff, possibly DW CS1's or 2's if wallet allows. My K-Sports have served me very well in the 2 years I've had them, but now is time to really look out for anything that could be holding me back. Rear hubs will be swapped for 5 stud ones, will do fronts too if time/wallet allows as usual. Body wise, hopefully my body sponsor will come through, but plans are to go for a full wide arch set and new body kit. I'll give the body a good freshen up as its showing the scars from my learning days still, plus the good beating I've given it this year, and it would really benefit from a spruce up. The two tone will be staying as always though! ![]() Thats the main framework of what needs doing, but I'm sure I'll run into obstacles and other things which I'll end up needing to get. I'll get cracking on whatever I can as soon as possible though so I don't end up leaving it all until the last minute like this year, or I'll only end up letting myself down.
