ANYONE who really believes that has NEVER driven a car with a decent sized turbo or supercharger IMO as thats bollocks, even with the most lag free car (Mk5 Golf GTI or some modern TDI engine for example).

frick the power a SC takes, matters nothing, it will drive awesome for drifting.

IMO use a big positive displacment blower rather than a centrifugal one, one off a Jag XKR is ideal, and run it at at decent s/c rpm, low boost is pointless.
Thanks for the comments, we actually have an XKR sc (great minds think alike). But may change to a bigger one

I was in the garage briefly last night so I took a few pics of some of the bits we have to go on :
Calipers :

Handbrake :

Roots type charger off an XKR, its been patiently waiting and collecting dust in my garage for months ! we are most likely NOT using this now though as actually fitting it in the engine bay looks like it wont be possible

And the nicest piece of kit, an OS Giken triple plate clutch.

Car arrives at the welders.

Surrounded by grass specials and various other projects he has on.

Trial fit of some of the panels (sorry for poor phone pic) GRP Wide rear overfenders (not really visible) and EP Racing front GRP wings, and the 'raceonusa' headlight shells.

Surely this kind of project would deserve a proper twin-screw supercharger. Much more efficient than a roots, specially on high boost and a much wider efficiency range in rpm compared to a centrifugal. Whipple (USA) and Lysholm (Sweden) are good brands to look at.

For drifting id not have thought so TBH mate, better off with something that gives you the maximum blast regardless of revs, ie a positive displacment charger.

Sure as frick would take up less room tho.

Usually I would cringe at the thought of an S13 front on an S15... But that one on your first post looks so damn cool .

Sick project man!
