shirunai - Nissan rs13 project "dori-chan"

Hello my name is Andre and I live in Sweden, this is the buildup on my
Nissan 200sx rs13 -1992 facelift with alittlerust and is not done quite yet, but you will see the process from rustystandard to decent comptetion car. This is my second driftcar I had a s14zenki before.
Ok lets take a look at some pictures.

Picture when I just bought her.

Alot of rust.

Started to take out alittle interior garbage.

Ahh love this job 2men 6workinghours.

We used a heatgun and chisel.

To get rid of the sticky part and rust we took it down with the grinder.

Some paint to prevent rust.

Rust inspection

Inside the frontwing.

Do you think as me, that the driver had a large right foot?

The picture speaks for itself

I wonder how I could drive this car home 130km drive home, the rust has crawled alongway.

This is just the begining I have some more shots of the process of the car I will show you guys.

Regards André

Nice job with all the rust. That's the main reason why I got mine from germany. Seems like all the swedish sold ones are completely rotten.

I live in Sweden I wanted to make it cheapest possible, here we get a 200sx s13 that is shitty and cant pass MOT sometimes with Bigendfailure for £1500. If you want a decent or a betterlooking one that is ~stage1 is going for £2000-3500 I got this baby with good tranny and engine for ~£900 so its abit uncommon to get this cheap here, with prices around £900 there shouldnt be a engine and gearbox in the car.

I have helpfull friends otherwise I couldnt do it, my s14 was mint.

Got this peltor G6 helmet for christmas since I work for christmas i got it alittle early.

Also got a FIA approved banaclava(fireproofmask)

I got to have the helmet otherwise I cant runt run in the highest series here in Sweden, a helmet must weight under 800gram(mine weights 730g superlight!) if you want bigger you must use HANS protection.

SUGOI!
My friend Rickard and me sanded and vaccumcleaned the inside of the car after we where done I gave Rickard a ride home.
When I came back my father where there and made some changes and prepared the car for paint, my father is the painter of the car he is a industrialpainter (painting cranes and tanks in camoflauge) he has hold a "paintgun" (what is the correct word?) for 40years but he is half-decent when it comes to painting cars he has just done 2 or 3 in his life.

The day after sanding SUGOI! uhm its looking white ? weird

The problem now is with the doorbar the damn driftworks superlowmount cant be adjusted we had to reweld the "lever" since its on incrediable dumb spot "#"!#!" so now just dont have the power with 1hand to change seat position so I have to step out.

edit: Got to explain why I just have one sidebar on the passagner side, its because its a roadregistred car and my girlfriend is sorta handicapped since she has a really bad whiplash and backpain so swinging the leg all the time she needs to ride with me isnt good.
She has crashed 2times by the way.
edit2: And as far as I know I will get through regs with just 1bar if I ride alone in comps here in Sweden.
