I sorted out the front shocks with the hight, its not too low, and Ive sorted the dampening to soft, it was a very hard ride. Now its much better not as good in the corners but its still good. But then i fitting the Strut Braces and that helped too

Oh yeah got some new rubber and this is wat happened the other day as i was going around the corner (a little too hard) and went over a pot hole and i think it jumped a bit (the car) and I hired a very loud bang.

Thats wat you get when you spend £20 for a new tyre , (I know Im a cheap bastard)

Then i started fitting the body kit and only got as far as fitting the front bumper on.... very badly
Here is the new one

Its a real pain taking the old one off, soo many screws but after a few hours it looked like this

I got this idea from Lex when i met him at the Final Round of the EDC. This was a new thing for me, till i started seeing that everyone on here does it. So was going to do the same

Heres a little test fit

I used 7 wires in the engine bay as you can see.

2 wires on the side and another 2 on the inside which you can see

Only problem is that its a real shitty fit.

Also had to take off the shock bar thingy, getting in the way, Its not the best thing to drive without one as a daly car. (safety first)

This is wat it looks like, its not that bad could be worse.

You can see that the ride hight is much better in this pic.

lets see how bad the others will look.

I then went to my first Pod drift day, and didnt really last long. This happen within 20mins.
It was my very bad driving skills Thats a clutch thats about 2-3k old.

So got another new one from here.

The flywheel had cracks in it so got another one and skimmed it

Got my dad to help me with fitting the bumper on again and this time it was much better

Also cut the holes and stuff for the lights

Got these to us as inductor lights but wont be fitting them tell the bumpers all spray and stuff.

The fitting is much better then before, still not perfect but its a cheapy ebay kit so.

Had a problem with the steering (long story) so got these

Would be nice to get lock like this

And it was back to the alignment place to put it right, at no extra charge

Went to another pod last month (jan) and it went much better this time, didnt break the car and got somewhere too

I got lots of under steer when i started,

but then i had a go at the little mini circuit and had the help of I think GmasterT which gave me hand and it really helped, CHeers dude. I did hit lots of cones though

Then
Got this the other week off Stavros, Cheers mate

and got me some drift rubber from kwik fit while i had the van, should last few pod days.

Took off all the parts from the sub frame and gave it a good clean

Got lots of spare parts (if anyone wants)

How hard is it to take off those sold bushes, and is it better to have them or poly ones, Ive got both. The cars goin to be just for drifting so yeah.

also bought some spoon thingys for changing tyres and off with some of the old ones

and on with some of the new ones

Great project. If you think the front bumper fitted bad wait till you fit the skirts and rear bumper, hope they fit better than my ones.

Liking the project and the pics you're posting as the build progresses. Most helpful to a newbie like me.
Keep it coming.

Heres some vids from the Feb Pod day.
Had a go at the big track, it didnt go too good at the start.

Getting better but really need to weld my diff

Have been doing some work since Monday,
Got rid of all my shitty tires first

Also changed my plates to straight ones and smaller, looks much nice now.

As the car is going to be now only for driftingall the interior was took out

Then started on the sound deadening (wat a bitch)

Then started on riping the carpet out, but couldnt be arsed to take the dash out so cut it out (will do it properly at another day)

Cheers dude

Finished all the deadening for now, still got the inside of the dash.

One LIDL bag of shit, It does weigh a bit though

Now for the rust that was found, foot rest bits are not as bad as i thought they would be.

This is on the rare of the drivers side, theres going to be some big holes work there

Got some of this on the other side too

I gave White Sprite a go at cleaning, is there anything better or any other ways in taking the rest off.

Still cant get all of it off

And what the garage looks like now thanks to me

Thats it for parts at the mo.
I hope the stage 2/3 chip you purchase works better than the stage 1 you sold.... I bought it and the car wont even run with it in.
Fair play though, it was E-bay and you pays ya money and you takes ya chances

best way for removing the sound deading is get an angle grinder or a drill and fit a metal wire brush will take it back a bare metal and them just respray over it keep up the work great project build
