Left "tit" is the diff cooler wiring and the right "tit" is ABS sensor, the diff cooler will still work, but the dash light will stay on as will the ABS light, I have disconnected both the wiring from the ECU and taken out the bulbs from the instrument panel..

I'm back to real world at the mo working 7 till 7 for a six day shift and the car is in the garage, surounded by parts and tools takes about 20 mins just to get the car out, basics unwrap the loom that you are going to work on, then chop any wire your not going to use at the end ie; indicators chop at the light end until you have everything that your not going to use then thread wires back to scource and cut out, admittedly easier said than done.
hope that helps

awesome. make sure you weigh it before putting the cage in, really interested to see how much weight youve saved. have you removed the ABS from under the bonnet?

Just a suggestion but would be worth getting some alloy panels made up.
Not a big deal, just some giant pieces of card , a pen and a pair of scissors. then find a local sheet metal place and I'm sure they'll make some door cards up from the templates for a reasonable price.

I'd do that on the grounds that my dad had to take a guy to hospital years ago after he ran his hand down the exposed edge and sliced his hand open to the artery!

Today after work, trying a different approach to a volvo FMIC.
UPSIDE DOWN

cut the two brackets and remove centre bracket

put base of FMIC for test fit

test fit bumper bracket, G claps only temp and don't touch the bracket

mark out bracket to improve more air flow

cut hole

roughly mark up bumper for holes to be cut

cut bumper in various places and cut open the false vents

looking very rough now need to sort out brackets for FMIC and plumbing, then tidy up the bumper :whip:
