What you wan't to pay maximum for it? They sometimes appear on the dutch secondhand market, but they are not cheap. Payed €100 for mine.. And it is not 100% damagefree.

I'll let you know if I see any

Yes I killed it.. Just can't take the foot of the gas when having not enough power.. You guys all should have heard the revving engine.. lol

Some guys came to me, djeesz what rpm does it make..? I say, lol, not revvlimiter and lack of power does make rpm. Happy I don't have a rpm gauge, I would be scared.

Big problem for next round however... Can't imagen only the gasket died.

Fair play to you Frits! Showing some of those big engine boys what it's all about! Ashame with the engine as Dex said! Although it's something you can take back, work on and make even stronger for next time!

Keep up the good work!

what boost was it hitting? stock liners are usually fine even at 30psi on stock compression if mapped well etc, but det makes cyl pressure go mental.

Normally driving 0.7 bar under butterfly.. But when the wastegate doesn't work.... Don't know what boost I was hitting, what does a OEM turbo gives? 1.3 bar or something..?

Carb isn't set up for that pressure..

I have heard detonation I think... It was pretty fast for a short time

You know what i meant. setup.

but yeah, det wouldve done that, normal cyl pressure alone wouldnt at only 1.3bar, the liners arnt mega strong as they wet ones, but they good for 2bar without too much trouble.

get it fixed and go for it mate, fairly cheap n easy at least.

Stavros, what do you think about this? Extreme hot exhaustvalve gets a load of water couse the cracking cilinder... valve bend? inner material change by quick cool down or whatever? Or nothing to worry about? just put the head back on?

Don't take the risk with the sparkplugs, they will be changed. But not sure about the exhaust valve.
