| Ghostdancer PS13 ![]() ![]() As a few people may know myself and Will (Nicad7) decided to import our cars through the importer Ghostdancer After handing over the cash in June the cars missed the boat twice ![]() and we finally had them delivered to Bristol docks mid October Rocking up to the docks we both were both quite excited but after we saw the cars we were quite dissapointed, Wills car had a lot of stuff in the boot apparantly, including 4wheels, but everything was missing, so he was pretty gutted, my car had the front bumper missing and was found inside the car as it was trashed on the boat as the suspension wasnt raised, also as a result of the suspension not being raised the down pipe was bumped and basically tried to rip the manifold from the turbo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() because the turbo was hanging off of the manifold it made driving very interesting!!I was basically driving it NA with the occasional little jump in performance but it was pretty turd driving it!!especially since Wills car was fine performance wise! Driving down the M25 back to Wills was what can only be described as heart breaking!! A polish lorry overtook me in the centre lane and completly misjudged where I was and side swiped me!Nearly pushing me of a bridge just past jnc12 ![]() After a lot of very difficult explaining to the police as to why my car had no number plate/front bumper etc we managed to get back on our way ![]() The wheel studs of the lorry actually ripped through my drivers door and the rear quarter ![]() ![]() Then we finally got back to Wills house ![]() Last edited by Ted; 12-03-2008 at 12:21. |

As I was working in Germany doing things to the car was very hard and too be honest not much was done for a month or two, but eventuly the insurance paid out a very tasty sum so I went about buying lots of nice little goodies!such as Power FC, Z32AFM, GT2871R, injectors and various other bits and pieces including new overfenders and a door ![]() ![]() I needed new tryes as mine were well you can see; ![]() ![]() Managed to rip all the old stuff out and found a nicely split and broken manifold ![]() So was just an excuse to buy a nice shiney one! Also ripped out the interior while I waited for all the new parts to slowly turn up. ![]() ![]() ![]() Its been killing me not being able to drive this, I havnt been able to MOT it because of the body damage so hopefully as Ive got 3weeks off, it might just might become roadworthy!!All I need is for this crap weather to chill out!!
