| 1jz FTW ![]() | jzz30 soarer build!!!! right well i imported this car off saj from jap perfromance parts a few months ago a 1994 toyota soarer twin turbo factory manual had a light front ender but was told it was only cosmetic, car lands afer 2 months waiting and what can i say few things it had which i wasn't told about which is fine in my book. ![]() as it was in japan ![]() when it turned up ![]() managed to get the front end off mouwt on here, and had the front jigged just incase always better safe then sorry. and pics after it was jigged ![]() ![]() anyway got it back and well let the work begin plans: tidy up seat time lots of it get used to it get bdc license fit few things suspension wise then concentrate on some more powers maybe go single after seeing declins soarer and bonbon's chaser then who knows, well let it begin fitted front bumper from ebay not bad fit either ![]() then sprayed ![]() alomost perfect colour match ![]() then had a practice day at lydd, it performed well better than i thought but took some time getting used to more weight compared to the s14 i did have. came off the practice day wanting to get more seat time, so booked myself in for the license day at silverstone took alot to get used to, wont ever run the car on s14 wheels again far to thin tyres for the size of the car didn't get license but hay my misstake for wrong tyre choice and no tallentwell heres some pics from silverstone ![]() ![]() and il keep updating as it progress's comments welcome ![]() Last edited by DR1FTER : 02-04-2008 at 23:56. |

| Yeah, Run LOTS of caster. They are heavy HEAVY cars and feel it when drifting even if you strip them right back to the metal. The doors weight as much as an entire S14 chassis (well bit of an exaduration) Im seriously considering getting another one. I love them so much. |

| 1jz FTW ![]() | thanks for the comments, few updates no pics yet will get some tho, fitted 2 lots of the steering spacers for more lock and what can i say - well what a difference the lock went from poor to good, still want more tho!!!! also just recieved some wide ass 17's off bonbon (thanks dude) so that should help get the grip that i need he he, also had the front setup today got 3 deg camber 0 toe and 8 deg of caster feels nice but cant wait to try it out at lydd !!!!! o and just ordered a supra fmic off egay, to help keep the charge temps down and to get a few more pony's out of me 1jz, that will be fitted on saturday so expect a good update then. |

| Resident Alco ![]() | Chris, your Soarer went to me I held onto it for a while, drifted it a bit and then sold it to a guy from Wexford. Don't know if it's still in one piece? I know it needed a small bit of work but it was an awesome car none the less. Drifted really well, sounded great and had loads of powers. |

| 1jz FTW ![]() | right few updates, after last weeks missfire problem and to the many who helped me out sorting it i can now say its fixed!!!! basicly it was the coilpacks and after hours trying to learn how to diagnose it there wasn't anything that it picked up so was down to the coilpacks and spark plugs so ordered myself some very nice parts from the guyswasted spark kit and colder ngk grade 7 plugs got them today, ordered them wednesday night ![]() and fitted them along with my new fmic from jperfromance.co.uk £230 and fits really well!!! ![]() ![]() |
