jzz30 soarer build!!!!

right well i imported this car off saj from jap perfromance parts a few months ago a 1994 toyota soarer twin turbo factory manual had a light front ender but was told it was only cosmetic, car lands afer 2 months waiting and what can i say few things it had which i wasn't told about which is fine in my book.

as it was in japan

when it turned up

managed to get the front end off mouwt on here, and had the front jigged just incase always better safe then sorry.

and pics after it was jigged

anyway got it back and well let the work begin

plans:

tidy up
seat time lots of it
get used to it
get bdc license
fit few things suspension wise
then concentrate on some more powers maybe go single after seeing declins soarer and bonbon's chaser

then who knows, well let it begin

fitted front bumper from ebay not bad fit either

then sprayed

alomost perfect colour match

then had a practice day at lydd, it performed well better than i thought but took some time getting used to more weight compared to the s14 i did have.

came off the practice day wanting to get more seat time, so booked myself in for the license day at silverstone took alot to get used to, wont ever run the car on s14 wheels again far to thin tyres for the size of the car didn't get license but hay my misstake for wrong tyre choice and no tallent

well heres some pics from silverstone

and il keep updating as it progress's

comments welcome

Yeah,
Run LOTS of caster. They are heavy HEAVY cars and feel it when drifting even if you strip them right back to the metal. The doors weight as much as an entire S14 chassis (well bit of an exaduration)

Im seriously considering getting another one. I love them so much.

Noice, remember this from silverstone

You need wider rears mate imo, due the the size of them, you need the extra rubber for grip etc

Chris, your Soarer went to me I held onto it for a while, drifted it a bit and then sold it to a guy from Wexford. Don't know if it's still in one piece? I know it needed a small bit of work but it was an awesome car none the less. Drifted really well, sounded great and had loads of powers.

right few updates, after last weeks missfire problem and to the many who helped me out sorting it i can now say its fixed!!!!

basicly it was the coilpacks and after hours trying to learn how to diagnose it there wasn't anything that it picked up so was down to the coilpacks and spark plugs

so ordered myself some very nice parts from the guys

wasted spark kit and colder ngk grade 7 plugs

got them today, ordered them wednesday night

and fitted them along with my new fmic from jperfromance.co.uk

£230 and fits really well!!!
