I went to look at this when it first came up, engine is strong and had a lot of work done on it by a fella I know, it was drifted for 2 years by a guy in the raf apparently, left it though due to me needing a car to just jump in and drive with only minimal work, I had to leave it due to the knocking subframe, knocking passenger wheel, slipping clutch and the fact all the panels are blatant different colours in the flesh! but its a good car if youve not got to use it every day and have the time to do it up good luck with it fella make her good again!

22 - 04 - 2008 Ok, ive had the car around two weeks now, what can i say? Im totally in love with it, its surprisingly nippy and it doughnuts on a penny. But naturally after these two weeks i have come across some annoying niggles that i need to sort out/rectify, they are: Engine mounts shagged Gearbox mounts also shagged Headgasket on its way out Flat spotted the front tyre Air intake system is really restricted Sadly, i wasnt paid as much as i thought i was going to be this month, so i need to fix as many of the above as possible within a smallish budget. The headgasket will need replacing depending on the compression test, while im at it i might aswell uprate the head studs, alltogether thats £230 To sort out my restrictive exhaust/filter situation ill get a cheap ebay cone filter (£39.99) and a Japspeed downpipe/decat rolled into one for £90 That adds up to around £360, the mounts will have to wait until next month or so To add to all that, i need to strip out the interior so i can hold more tyres and tools in the back

12 - 05 - 08 Managed to do some work on Sunday to the car, my clutch kept loosing its biting point and loosing fluid, after looking around i found that it was leaking clutch fluid into the drivers footwell ![]() G13 sourced and replaced the master cylinder for me, so nice one mate Then i bodged my airfilter with a awesome cable tie bracket (i'll make a proper one soon) ![]() And then with the help of my mate we binned the rear interior ![]() ![]() Off to DWYB on Wednesday
