Dele's Learner S13

Ok,

This is my third skid car now, the first two, the skyline and RX7 were great but i just never got round to skidding them and ended up spending money i could of spent on track days on tarting them up, ive only been skidding twice, the last time being Jap Show Finale last year in the Skyline and i constantly spun out.

So im well and truely relegated to K1 spec at the moment,

I had to sell the RX7 to pay off some bills, credit cards etc.

After i paid them off, i had some money spare and saw this S13 in neighbouring Luton, i went to see it Monday afternoon and snapped it up straight away, its such a perfect learner spec, now i have no excuse not to spend money on tyres and DWYB days etc.

I also have no excuses now about my drifting, if i cant do it, its not the cars fault, its the drivers

Engine Mods:
Norris Designs actuator
Norris Designes chip
GP Sports spec D exhaust
K&N Panel filter
Bailey Evo Dump valve

Chassis Mods:

D2 Coilovers with springs of 9 kg/mm front and 7 kg/mm rear
Whiteline anti-roll bars front and rear
Metal steering bush
Welded Diff (carried out by Julian of Garage D)

Brakes:

Red Dot Grooved discs front and rear with fast road pads
Fly off hand brake
ABS removed (carried out by Garage D)

I took it out last night just for a drive, no shopping or anything and was really surprised at how strong the C18DET felt, i thought it was going to feel like it was running on crushed stones but its so smooth, more smoother than the RX7's rotary, but i did notice that the rear subframe bushes were shagged, so ive ordered some uprated Driftworks ones

The front passenger side suspension is making some funky noises, ill have to inspect that while changing the bushes too, could be the coilover being shagged or a balljoint

Bets on how long it takes me to change my mind on a car again?

Doh!

On the way home from work today i noticed the clutch biting point becomming lower and lower to the point of where the slightest milimeter let off and the clutch is fully out, so while im doing the subframe bushes it looks like i might have to inspect the slave cylinder
