Im sure you were sounding well happy with the work they done on it at the beggining though, but if someone else noticed it shows your trust in a mechanic.

good luck with the claims dude

just remeber when u guys are putting court papers in to claim DO NOT put the claim under the company name .... is so much easier and cheaper to just close down and re-open under a different name and another directors name

Make sure u put the claim directly in to this steve guys name as that will eliminate the option of them closing down and once a company closes down all the debts go with it

i know from previous experience but i was lucky

I'm no wiz kid LOL. I was told that because the engine is supposed to have VVT. It is not being used. Therefore it is not retarding the timing e.t.c

Or something like that. That's what i have been told. But i know nothing just need it sorted.

just watch wat u say on a public forum mate as iirc anything bad u say about them is classed as " slander" until its proven , could harm your claim ... might be worth just editing your first post

Im sure the DTA can control that, its just not at mo.

Redtops dont have VVT and they havent got loads less low down have they?

Basically, what im saying is dont bin off an expensive and decent managment system for something not as good just because it isnt working properly at mo.

You have a very good point. I was definately toying with the idea. Only because some people say DTA is SHITE and some say it's awesome. I just want my car to work and have no idea where to start.

The build they have done is EXTREMELY messy. But on the other hand it is working just not very well. So it is a case of 2 things really.

Try and get what i have to work or try and sell all the bits off this and start again with a 1jzgte or something.

Just a bit of an update.

Someone came round my house at 3am this morning. Set fire to my car and almost my house\garage. Whilst me & my MRS was inside. I saw what they were driving and saw them from a distance.

Luckily the Police have a very good idea who did it. Fingers crossed they will be picked up very soon .

The car itself hasn't bothered me that much but the fact that my MRS and Dog was inside my house. Plus the car was right next to our GAS mains.

I'm in the process of uploading pics so will chuck them up a.s.a.p.

O and thanks to J@garagemac and ednovastarlet for coming round this morning. Cheered me up a bit. Thanks lads.

100% Arsen. They knew why there were there and what they were doing.

A towel was soaked in fuel and put over the bonnet and tucket into the engine bay. So basically seems that they were after burning the engine for sure.

Pics

It's 100% someone that knows me and that knows what's been done to the engine. As that's what they went for.

I can't think who i have pissed off that much to do this.
