ouch, looks like hitting that kerb snapped the wishbone and pulled the wheel off along with everything else there!

Updates

so after a little crash, I desided not to run any more in this season, coz front rims are dead
I pulled out my old engine with tranny and sold it out
now, the car is waiting for a new one to be installed

and some pics of new stuff bought in Japan

front MMC GTO/3000GT 4 pot calipers + stock brake rotors 296x30

rear MMC GTO/3000GT 2 pot calipers + stock brake rotors 295x20

finally I`ve bought transmission from Mazda RX-7 FD3S 1992

it was cost only 60$ by blits price on jp yahoo auction

and bought semi-automatic Welding machine with CO2 shielding gas

now I`m waiting tranny to come..... and then, I`ll start to do some crazy things

What engine will you be running?
And guessing by the rx7 tranny the engine will be in longitude position right?

Thanks to ALL for your comments!

I will definitely continue the project and will try my best to ride on the car in the spring, because Nomura Ken promised again to come to us this spring and I would like to surprise him much

never good to crash and break stuff but sometimes it gives you that extra push to get other bits done but cool project

so, I`ve disassembled new engine and evo tranny

sad, but engine need`s a little overhaul.... all piston rings are dead
I planing to put in some new EVO 9 piston+rings and custom H-beam con. RODs
one cylinder had no compression at all, i think

I was lucky and found a metal head gasket under head, so it will be used again

strange, but head is MEGA clean, I think it was an overhaul some time ago...

tranny is in perfect condition, so all the inner stuff will be sold out

here is a pic of a half of tranny case that will be modified to connect RX-7 tranny to 4G63t 3gen

Mental project, love the idea of a drift evo, some serious work needed to mount the engine longitudally. Best of luck with it!

my new FD3S tranny has arrived
it`s perfect!! all gears are working very smoothly

stock EVO 5 clutch disk fit`s rx inner shaft PERFECT!!! without any backlash!!
so I can run any aftermarket clutch kit for evo 4-9 without any problems

test fit

started to cut a bellhousing

and some speed calculation, before and after

that`s all for now

no, 4.37 WAS on EVO tranny + rear RVR diff
( 5,443 (gear box ratio) + 3,313 (rear diff ratio) ) / 2 = 4,378

max than I can find, is 3.909 in rear diff, it`s a stock evo 3 pare..... but it`s very rare and expensive

for our track, 125km/h on second gear of rx-7 gearbox is very good.....
speed up to 125, change to 3rd, revving to 7200 and releasing the clutch

btw Beezy, what`s your opinion.... how much power FD3S tranny can handle??
you`re the mazda user aren`t you?
