Whats the problems with the standard ignitor?? Can they only work up to a certain level? or was it just a problem with yours?

Looks like a very neat and wicked install, but it must be an animal in a nice light car!

The standard ignitor isnt great but i can normally get away with gapping the plugs right down and some really careful fuel tuning i would recommend using the hks DLI with them for big power 2 and 1jz's running Power FC's greddy emanage or HKS fcon

But because im using a Haltech ECU and wasted spark coil pack im loosing a fair bit of charge time so the sparks really weak not even small plug gaps are working cant wait to get the new coils

Hi , sorry to bother you , we (as a team) are willing to swap our S13 as well , so due to that i have some questions that you maybe could answer .

First of all , why did you choose a 1JZ and not a 2JZ ? what lead you to that decision ? price , spare parts ? something else ?

Another point , why did you turn it to a single turbo ?

How would you rate the swap difficulties concidering we are mechanics as well (not car mechs but we know a bit ^_^) ?

Any other inputs , infos , whatever would be greatly appreciated .

The french frog

edit : forgot to told about the great job you did , and by the way do you have some videos of the car performing on drift with the 1J engine ?
