Great, will try it out! I am glad i have those plates still, haven't trailered it to or from a event yet.. Makes the training a lot doable

Spent some more hours working on the old brick today. Finally got around to fit the oil cooler
Started with practicing my (bad) welding skills and made some brackets

Needed to cut away some metal from the bumper so it would get cold air, no mercy taken:

Finished with some holes:

With the cooler in place it looks like this:

And we made the outside cut off, a step closer to get the car into pro:

Not finished with the inside cutoff yet, going to relocate the battery into the boot first.

Yes, my engine is killed again. A very big dissapointment. But thats how things goes.

Do you already have a cage?

That`s a shame, hope you sort it. Is there a problem getting a Volvo engine in the 340? Only need sotck stuff from a 360 like engine mounts, bellhousing, trans axle and gearbox etc. And a 940 turbo engine(b230et)

Not got a cage in yet, put are probably buying one next month. Getting it sorted before next season..

More done to it and money spent new 2l catch tank:

Got a relocation kit home and fitted, just need to sort out some oil leaks

Bought a new set of wheels, they are away getting powder coated now.. 13x8 Allycat

Hope you like

Porn

Why did you relocate the oilfilter? Because of the manifold?

No, actually because of the engine mount.. With an adapter in place so i could have oil temp and pressure measured the stock filter is way to big. And a smaller filter is not a desirable option(and i could find a small one that fitted...)

A pic explains more than a 1000 words, check out the tightness:

Thanks!

Last event\training this season:

It has been a nice little season, the car has not disappointed me once, I am almost scared to start modifying it more
The fact that I has been able to drive home from every event amazes me

Got a kill switch hooked up, with battery relocated to the boot

Cool as

Love Allycats too, badass wheels, getting quite hard to find these days as back in the day nobody wanted them so just threw them away!

Thanks man!

Got some work done again, the old bugger is stripped(again):

And me and "bru trix & fix" have started mounting a cage.. Only one pic of it so far, a box for the main hoop:

Adjustable top mounts has arrived:

Got a lot more of the cage done today, and hopefully finish it tomorrow. Will get some pic`s up

Wondering about the color of the cabin, red floor and black cage? Or maybe all black?

Maybe a flashy silver floor and cage?
Have you painted the inside of the headlights black yet?
