360 2,3l going Pro

Been on here for a while now, and its about time to post up a tread about the transformation of my car..
It has gone from a daily driver to competing in the club class season in 08.
Next season where I am getting it up to Pro level.

Bought it completely standard, a Gl with 69` km`s on the clock.. With a 100hp b200k

First some wheels, 13x8 et4

With some balloon tires

Lowering in process:

With 2" blocks at the rear and approx 50-60mm lowered at the front:

After a while things got more out of hand

And I added some buckets:

Weighted in at sub 1000kg`s

With the soft suspension and an open diff it could do this:

Last pic taken by steef..

And sorry about spelling errors

This year I am attending the Club class in the Norwegian Powerdrift series, so on my list of priorities was suspension, diff, more power etc..

For the suspension I got front poly brushes:

Whiteline 25mm Swaybar:

Some parts from Dai, adjustable rear dampers, 80mm lowering springs and links to my new swaybar:

And new front dampers(lip tech) the one on the right:

The diff:

For powers i got this 4-2-1:

And we made a 2,5":

producing a hefty 98 decibel..Thancks to "Bru Trix and Fix"

More seat time:

Suspension sorted and more lowered it looked like this:

Thats good, you got a real nice Volvo yourself!

A Electric fan found its way in the front:

A weary light bonnet is also added:

Balloon tires are switched out with some stretched Toyo`s:

Getting together again:

I have worked a lot on the car lately so no time for updates, but here is a pic form yesterday:

Finished 16th in the club class in Powerdrift round 2 at Gardermoen
Happy with that as i feel both me and the car has a lot of more potential, got almost no training before qual, and it was the first time doing it in 3rd! So with more practise, adjusting of Weber's etc I hope i will perform better at Rudskogen round 3

To prevent it looking like this when i drive:

This weekend I competed in the fourth round of Powerdrift
Drivers meet:

The old Volvo performed well on dry, but i need some more track time to qualify for the final

I am not sure if those wellers are just ugly? Or ugly but nice...

A new fan is in place:

Some gauges:

Stripped the inner roof out, how do i get the glued sounddeadening off? Tested a heat gun, but there got to be a faster way?

Btw I saved a jaw dropping 2kg`s on it

More seatime

Uk conditions?

It can actually produce smoke
