Managed to get a day off work with no wife in tow so did abit to the car.

Got the subframe off couldnt get the bloody handbrake cables apart like the bad mooded git i am when i work on cars almost cut it instead LOL but my mate Chris got it off cheers fella.

Started to try and take the bushes out see why people say they are a pain in the arse now so the guy who's sandblasting the frame for me is going to do them and chuck the solid bushes in too (lazy i know)

Also started to take the diff oil cooler off ready for the bin.

tried fitting my new disks and brakes for the rear and took the old disk off and the handbrake fell apart fooked if i know how it goes back together but think i need a 300zx rear backplate anyway as i am running different disks now.

Anybody have any or know of any being sold????

i may be talking outa my ass here but ive been told that when painting subframes etc keep old bushes in or mask it off really good. getting solid mounts on are a PITA and the extra layer of paint makes it a tad harder.

Im sure its not end of the world though, i may even be wrong as never done it. Just what I was told.

Looks class though fella.

Been awhile so thought i best update.

Managed to get the rearsubframe back on with alittle help of my mate was a pain in the arse to get sitting right but at least its a job i wont need to do again.

Bought the wrong rear disks (read the ebay add wrong) so cant put my rear skyline calipers on and get the hydro hooked up yet.

Mate of mine came down and sorted the elecs out for me to now have all the lights working on the car.

Put 15mm spacers on to see how far out the rear wheels sit for when i get the chargespeed rear fenders just after xmas.

SHOULD JUST ROLL THE ARCHES LOOKS ACE AS IT IS

And fitted the spacer on the tien rods and played with the camber on the front going to need this setting up as the front wheels are all over the place camber looks good though

Hoping to be back down the pod in jan/feb the cars off for paint and a cage prob april/may time.

Screw it, re-sell the chragespeed arches and flare those ones!

Looks good, can't wait to see it after a quick paint and cage fitting too though! What colour will it be? Please not the standard grey, it'll ruin the car!

Really really coming along now mate. I wouldn't even bother adjusting the camber on the front.. its crazy safety or not.. atleast you'd be lookin' PRO! lol.

Get it painted.. my OCD wants it painted. I'll try pop down the garage tomorrow mate, catch it in the flesh.

Oh by the way, the rear subframe looks mint.. I'm sure everybody will be amazed by it when you crashu and burnu

Been busy again on the car a day off without the wifes ace means i can get stuck into my car without the phone going every two minutes LOL

Put the cups on the rear subframe and the braces that go on the subframe and chassie (no idea what they are for maybe to stop axle tramp) also painted them red byt forgot to take pics.

Got the front camber sitting right and sorted the tracking (only by eye) and also put the other 6mm spacer on the tein rod (better steering lock)

blue stuffs thread lock.

Also started taking the rest of the carpets and sound deadning out

But found some new holes that are going to need replacing and possible a new sill it is a s13 so shouldnt be shocked really.

Also put my srb stickers on make me go faster i tell you

Looking well there mate. So what are you doing about colour, are you just going to paint the kit in the same colour or change it all.
