Low Budget Dori Sierra project

Hi all, i am back with a "new" driftcar. The other car the Omega 3000 Turbo is sold and now i just want a low budget fun machine, so i bought a Sierra 2.0i DOHC.

After 2 hard days of polishing the car was shiny red again

Stripped interior

For the real "driftlook i mounted a big aluwing just for the fun of it

My engine is not getting to hot i think after i put my grinder in the hood and grille

A couple of more pics. And yes the car is a little bit lower on the right because a broken spring and damaged damper but there will be a nice set of new dampers and springs on there soon

Next plans. Teflon engineblocks and transmission bracket. PU bushes in the front and back. Anti sway bar from a Scorpio cosworth in the back. Strutbar in the front and back. 2 nice bucketseats and maybe later a rollcage. A lot of bang for buck, thats the motto!

Cheers,
Peter

Dude what happened, I swear you used to have bitching cars. Attatch that spoiler and exhaust to a solid anchor point, and then drive the car away from it at speed.

And what is "cheap" and "easy" and "fun" about polishing a car for two days, fitting a PAIR of buckets, strut braces, solid engine/gearbox mounts, and a rollcage? Why don't you just cut the springs, weld the diff, and rag the shit out of it?

I did, but the springs and dampers are broken now...
Okay better explanation. For now it will be a cheap fun car, but maybe in the future we will fit a turbo to the engine... i got a long way to go with this car cause i like it

Last week i ordered a nice set of dampers and springs, 50% stiffer than original and 45mm lower this week i will fit it

and just bought myself a couple of nice bucketseats.

Only thing i need now is a smaller steeringwheel, cause this oem one is just tooo huge

Crappy telephonepics :P

Pictures from the lowering kit

And yes! the aluwing is gone! It was far to gay on this car

And then the Sierra was almost ready for next weekend! Just a couple of things to do for now.

And the lowering! Yes i like it! Its verry stiff and low unbelievable, but its not really a low budget project anymore haha

Did you do anything to the engine? I was going to buy a sierra 2.0 ... but I was told that the engine can't do it... :S ...
