| Mk2 escort --my 3 day project! Bought this escort in November as a rough but slightly solid solid 2 door with the plan of building up a nice fun car while I am doing my mk1 properly. In december I got an awesome job at Triumph so ended up moving up from devon and away from any workshop facilities.. The mk2 sat stripped in a field for a few months, waiting for the painter to sort out the crappy green paint and do a better job. Well last monday it was finally painted so with a week off work booked I headed back to Devon to do a super quick build up and drive it back to Hinckley on the friday After 3 days it was finaly working and driving, It managed to make the trip up from devon, only dumping all of its water once!.Big thanks to my fiance Sadie for puttin up with me being a oily grumpy cnut and doin a mint job of the screen seals!!.On getting back the plan was to spend sat doin a few jobs on the escort and Topis Kadett then head to the pod for the classic ford show.. thats another story tho.. in the mean time have some pics....... before.... ![]() after... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers!!!! |

| Nice to see more old skool fords out there! Not enough in my opinion considering they where at it 30 years before drifting was ever considered a sport or competition of sorts. Was Classic Ford any good? I didnt go on account of it being too far to drive as im lazy like that. |
