My SX

Whatever happens will go in here

(one at the front)

And people who moan at sound deadening removal, shame on you! I love it

Sticky

Mid primering

I only got one arch done - my back started giving me greif, so it'll take me a while to get the whole thing done unless my back magically hurrys up and fixes itself

I dunno what the plans involve for it, I was gonna rebuild a CA... I'm thinking of RB25... who knows

An hour and halfs work from today, back tapped out I think I have some help tomorrow and Sunday though

I found a chisel too hardcore, seemed to dig into the metal a bit... hammer + screwdriver worked perfect

It took me about 4-5 days to finish taking all the shit off
I had to use petrol to get rid of the little bits at the end and that was the long and hard part really.

Before

After (ran out of paint...)

I should really get around to cleaning out all the mess

It will actually be going black

It's a little dirty, and gonna redo it again when I rebuild the engine... overall I'm happy with it

Removed a bit more tar today too, gonna get some pipe freeze from B&Q and use that!

The rocker cover was from a can

Im hoping to start ripping the engine out soon so I can start repairing metal, while waiting for money/parts to rebuild the engine

Didn't take many pics today...

But FINALLY took out the WMIC... yey!

I've taken out the washer bottle as I'm gonna relocate it to the rear of the car... the motors are fubar, so I'll have to see what I can do with them - ideas anyone? apart from buy a 2nd hand one

All the gearbox bolts are off (mental note, still need to drop the gearbox oil!), I just need some help with getting the bottom end out - I'm not gonna try and lift it myself, it'll just pop my back straight back out [hopefully done this week!]

I'm going to be moving the PAS resevior onto the cross member, but then again I might take the PAS system out... I won't be drifting it, anymore I'm doing it as a track car so I don't wanna total it drifting, I'll still keep progress going in here, never know I might change my mind [will be decided and done this week]

I'm going to be relocating the fuse boxes, not too far away from their original position - just too tidy it up a little [will be done this week]

My lowering springs are faulty

Whats left of the engine bay

Anyone know how to stop the lights popping up opposite to each other I'll be off to search after I've posted this, but it's quite annoying

I'm guessing I'll have to drain the diffs' oil so I can take the propshaft out?

I obliterated the sound deadening today and some other daft jobs... got dark before I realised so no pics... nowt exciting anyways really!

But... wtf is this!? Must be something to do with the OLD alarm in there?

And some NICE wiring to go with that same alarm

Here's my URAS lights lit up - I couldn't take a brake shot by myself, so sorry ;P I'm gonna take the lense of the centre piece and spray the back ground black...

And my side-light/indicators, they're orange and flash brighter

Not many holes under neath the sound deadening one each side...
This ones a bit worse, seat belt part is not touching the floor

Removing the dash didn't go to plan, somehow one of the bolts that I need to take out is upside down... god knows how the hell they put it in there :S just that ONE bolt stopping me

And whoevers project thread I saw about reducing the wiring... I HATE YOU!

I stopped there because I need to get the dash out...

Thats an old school immobiliser. A little fob thing slots in to allow you to start car.
