I`d defo not fit the harness until you`ve got a proper seat in dude

Try some toyo T1R`s for tyres, thats what we race on and they car easy keep up with cars on slicks/888`s and last really well. They have great grip in the wet or dry! LSD is a great idea but the 1.8l brakes aren`t needed really, some green stuf pads for the road and some yellow stuff pads for track use is more than enough.

I definitely recommend them for road/track use.
Fantastic, then i'll be ordering some as soon as i can scrape together the cash for them. The biggest plus for me tho' is the TüV papers as you need them to get it proved roadworthy over here in car-hell.

One more question mind, how far from maximum lowering are you on them?
Looking to go low as frick.

Pretty far. I ran them at their lowest (-50mm I believe) for ages with my Rotas on, had to jack it back up for the Sportmax. Although the car looks high in the pics, I cant even get a packet of Trident chewing gum under the lip properly. Id guess Im at about -35mm at the minute.

Pic of lowest:

At that height, I didnt so much run over road-kill, as scoop it up...

Thanks, mine is about that height at the front now, but stock height on the rear.
Looks like i'm constantly braking. I don't have a splitter tho, i want one but i'm not sure i could get home if i had one :P

You need to try Axxis Ultimate pads. Once you've had a go on those, you'll never want for another brake pad. Every time I step on them from high speeds I'm astonished at how fade free they are. Seriously, try them out, they're incredible. And considerably cheaper than a lot of the seriously hardcore track pads. Work from cold and in the wet too. The perfect pad for all occasions

Dusty as frick though.

Yeah Ive heard nothing but good things about Axxis. Ive got greenstuffs in now though, and even after 10k miles, theyre not bad.

I love it. I used to hate MX-5's but now I really want one. Gonna trade my gf's fiesta in for one, then I can drive around in it and not have to admit its mine...

We're booked on for the 28th of August for a week...56 hours of racing time available, cant wait! I know a couple of people (one on here, both much, much better drivers than I am) have hit near the mid-8 minute mark in MK1 NA MX5s. If I can get within even a minute of that, Ill be happy.
